Great location on the lake that was close to restaurants, grocery stores, bait stores, and general shopping. Was located near the 3.5 mile marker. It sits back in a cove which means it's not really rough at all. The cabin was really wonderful and with plenty of amenities such as silverware, dishes, pots, pans, and cups. The appliances were very nice (although it took me 5 minutes to turn on the stove the first time. I should have read the provided notebook first though). There was a charcoal grill provided with a gas assist starter that was very nice and we enjoyed several nights of the stay. There was not a washer or dryer that we saw (it was not advertised as having them either but I thought I would note it). There were plenty of towels so not having a washer or dryer was not an issue. The cabin was very clean and well maintained. We felt at home as soon as we walked in. There was a deck that wrapped the back facing the lake and it was in the shade in the evening which made it very nice. There was a second patio with a fire pit but we enjoyed the back deck and swimming dock the most. Just above the swimming dock was a deck in the shade so if parents wanted to sit and watch the kids swim while in the shade it is possible. There was a boat dock that we fished off of a few times but really did not use too much. They provided plenty of water toys. There were floating rafts that we loved. The kids used kayaks many time. My son fished from the Kayak and caught a nice large mouth bass. It should be noted that the drive down the driveways to the cabin is rather steep and its not really trailer friendly but we had no problems without a trailer. The owners were very friendly, helpful, and just generally nice people. We will definitely be considering going back to this place if we decide to go back to Lake of the Ozarks again. The swim dock, cleanliness of the cabin, and quality of the amenities are the attributes that would bring us back.
