Forest Lawn Cemetery — Local services in Lakeside

I have videos to prove the numerous times the Forest Lawn cemetery staff could not show me a plot for my brother with headstone.

Also. Videos of the police threatening to arrest me because I requested several times both contracts and a refund that requested several times even after calling and requesting paperwork and a refund.

I will be forwarding to the courts if necessary for Forest Lawn evidence, documentation, videos and witnesses statements to support my claim against Forest Lawn for negligence and poor management!

This has been going on over 24 months now. I demand to physically shown my family member’s plot with the headstone the VA Hospital confirmed was delivered to Forest Lawn Cemetery over 2 years ago!

If necessary, I will contact and show k my vithat I was told my brother was supposed be buried in the same plots of their family members burial and request the courts to dig those graves up!!!!

At this point, I’m being forced to get the media also involved in this if this if I get no immediate resolution.

I promise Forest Lawn don’t want me to contact those other families who love ones graves will have to be dug up and get public and the media attention !!!!

Can you imagine being shown (3) different plots for same family member/love one. But, the headstone with your family member’s name wasn’t on any of those graves.

I expect immediate attention to this matter!

Warning ⚠️ Families - Forest Lawn Cemetery need to be fully investigated before anyone else is buried in that cemetery!

No family should have to go through what we have gone through!

Grieving, Upset And...

I wish I could leave 0 stars. When taking care of business here, make sure you talk to Jahmaul only if you DON’T want to get screwed around. Evan Nunery should not be hired to work in a dog house. My son was put to rest in a private estate mausoleum in June. We were told it would take 8 months for the granite to come in to build the surrounding patio and to do the engraving. Here we are 8 months later and Evan Nunery never put the order in. We sat in that cold room for hours discussing the engraving, patio, and finances. Evan also attempted to charge us for a bench that was already included and still, he never put the order in. I go to the office to discuss the matter and they don’t even have a date as to when it will be done. I sat in that cold office again today waiting on Crystal the general manager to come in and speak with me. Instead she snuck out to pick up her daughter during work hours. Never even acknowledged my presence. I called their corporate line and you must wait 24-48 hours for someone to contact you, hopefully. Not to mention, all of our requested services have been completely paid for. Please reconsider to avoid any additional hardship while dealing with the loss of your loved ones. Jamaal is the only asset this company has.

*UPDATE: Almost a year later and still nothing. Worst company ever!

*UPDATE: Darn near 2 1/2 yrs later and still nothing. If you want to bury your loved ones peacefully and try to heal…this is not the cemetery you want to be tied with. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. Mentioning again, my son’s burial was paid in full before...

Forest Lawn is a beautiful cemetery despite if there is a lot of grass that needs cutting or if the grass doesn't grow at all. Anyone born in Richmond knows how hard it is to grow grass here in the summer. I worked for this cemetery and I know how hard it is to run the office and cemetery maintenance. What Forest Lawn truly needs is a complete staff of compassionate employees. The funeral business isn't for everyone. When I was there this past April a young lady from the office was out on the grounds checking in with families through out the cemetery. That's the kind of person the families of Forest Lawn need. What keeps me from giving Forest Lawn 5 stars is the small things that could be better such as the signs used for funeral processions. They need to be repainted or replaced. The area around the shop and old office building could definitely be made to look better so the office is more welcoming. The brick work on the corner of 6 in front of the office use to always be kept free of debris. Even the smallest things can mean alot to...
