I have been a customer of the Hometown Market because of living in the senior community next door, the refrigeration is terrible I'm surprised they have not been fined several violations I actually did work there for a short time in the early 2000s and was told to mix old macaroni salad in with the new, also using nail polish remover to remove dates so they can put other dates on them I feel sorry because the elderly are being taken advantage of because of lack of Transportation so being that it is a convenience store I understand you have to pay a price for that but when it comes to the price of your health I do believe the health inspection people need to check on this place a little more often! When to get ice cream today and the stick fell out and it melted all over me the only thing holding the ice cream inside was the Chocolate shell this was over $3 for Haagen-Dazs almond bar! I had to eat whatever was left out of a bowl and I live very close to the establishment! They are very rude and are also short-handed, a way overpriced, it's like they go to the bigger stores and then charge you double the price some of the violations would make you physically ill if I were to share what I saw while I work there, I'm glad that that was over 20 years ago it would never work for a place like that again, it used to be a Wawa where the standards were held much higher...

Well it was actually Wawa for years before The Hometown Market, They do have a lot of items but obviously pricey! My fiance paid nearly 6 dollars for an Italian sandwich and I told him to take it back! Salami is not supposed to be brown along with other cold cuts also not fresh! On my way to return a phone to a passenger. I had to stop off and change a $1 bill for 4 quarters for the .75 toll. So I hop in an ask polity for change. So rude and hate filled the push my dollar back and tell me to get out unless I buy something? I go next store and they have no problem doing it. This guy racist or hates white ppl bc why all the hate for asking for change? Horrible what's happening in this country. Imagine a white man doing that to a person of color.
