Buyer beware—for those in the firearms community, Shore Shot might just become the only place you’ll ever want to go! My journey into the world of firearms started over 30 years ago with Ray’s Sporting Goods. It was the first dealership I was introduced to, and I can still remember the creaking sound of their old wooden floors—a nostalgic memory for many of us.
Years later, during a visit to see my grandmother in Leisure Village, I made a stop at Shore Shot. At the time, it didn’t leave a lasting impression. But fast forward to today, and that couldn’t be further from the truth. I recently revisited Shore Shot, and since that day, I haven’t even considered stepping into another firearms dealership.
Shore Shot truly has something for everyone, whether you’re new to firearms or a seasoned enthusiast. From entry-level options to the most elite models, their selection is second to none. But what really sets them apart is the experience they provide. The mom-and-pop atmosphere is warm and inviting, creating a sense of community and trust that’s rare these days.
One thing I’ve always appreciated is how the staff treats their customers. I’ve never felt pressured to make a purchase, and they’ve never shown frustration when I’ve asked to see multiple firearms. Their patience, knowledge, and genuine passion for what they do are evident in every interaction.
The professionalism of the entire team is unmatched, and it’s clear they take pride in creating a welcoming, respectful environment for all their customers. Shore Shot has set a standard that’s impossible to beat, and I’m so grateful I decided to give them another visit. It’s not just a dealership—it’s a place I know I’ll return to again and again. If you’re in the firearms world, take my advice: buyer beware—because once you step through their doors, you won’t want to go...

Read moreVisit to shore shot last time was very disappointing. Brought my own gun (purchased from SS previously) and rented another one. Let the guys know I would also be looking to purchase a second after my session as well. Came back out when I was done and wasn't sure who wanted to help me. Didn't think they worked of commission but after hearing a commment I was thrown off and felt pushed off. Finally made the decision on what I wanted to purchase and overheard from another customer it was free rentals while I was waiting to check out after we paid for our rental earlier. To throw salt in the wound we find out that there were cases of ammo to purchase. Why were we not offered these when we came out purchasing more boxes several times while shooting? Cleary it would have been more cost effective. When chekcing out to purchase the second gun, after several minutes of back and forth we were reluctantly refunded the rental purchase and a small discount on the case. To much to continue writing about but the entire situation was very unprofessional. Between being left alone with a gun out of the case, incorrect pricing information and everyone worried about eating there chinese food, I will be going elsewhere. It's really dishearting as I bought both my guns here, did my saftey testing with Joe and planned to do the conceal...
