Support local business! There may not be a ton to do in little Lanark IL, but at least we have a grocery store! This little grocery store (often referred to as LFC by locals) is an oasis for your grocery needs unless you are willing to drive 26 miles to the nearest Walmart. In that case you are spending way to much money on gas and should just stay close and support these guys. There is a good variety of grocery needs and recent enhancements have been made to the frozen food section and produce section that are very aesthetically pleasing. The indian family that owns LFC is one of the sweetest you will ever meet and they keep business running smoother than it ever has in the past. It always surprises me the variety they manage to keep in a relatively small square footage! Always friendly nice people. Today some lovely lady helped me get my groceries in the car and took the cart back for me! I have some respiratory issues and that extra help was so wonderful and welcome! They have parallel parking in front and I have never had to parallel park in my life...and it shows! It has always been very neat...

Great small hometown grocery store! Love the variety of things they sell. They have an awesome selection of deli salads that are absolutely delicious! There is a lot to love at the store!
