Lancaster Motor Speedway — Local services in Lancaster

Sorry about the highway signs but seems the county zoning board made a new law and after 30 years of having the sign and still also pay the s.c. tax to have it there they took it down not me.we fought it at County Council and the county manager ( not to bright anyway ) we took pictures and witnesses to back it up some council members did not even know it was there..we are the biggest event in Lancaster County, businesses were not happy at all the lost including the Full motels. These people know nothing about business just politics. SO PLEASE VOTE AND SEE WHAT THEY VOTE FOR!!! Seem like high taxes but care less about business that bring in out of state money to BETTER THE COUNTY Why would u treat a 63 year old busy that is good for everyone TAKE A TRIP TO ARBY'S AND JUST LOOK AT THEIR WHOLE BACK WALL ALL LMS RACING SOME NATIONAL COMPANY'S MUST CARE ABOUT IT AND AT LEAST THINK IT IS WORTH IT.

REMEMBER JUST VOTE FOR SOMEONE THAT CARES ABOUT LOCAL BUSINESSES AND NOT JUST MAKING AND...

This is an 69-70 year old dirt track. My 1st experience was a few months ago for a monster truck show with my 7 year old grandson. This time I brought all 3 of my grandsons for a road race of several type of class cars. The place fills with crowds of people and the seating is nothing more then concrete steps deep and high as a seat would be. Bring a cushion even a small beach chair fits and would be more comfortable. The food was good cooked right there on a outside grill. Bring ear protection and an umbrella worked very well to block the sun until it settles behind the trees. The parking is free but bring only cash for credit cards are not excepted. Maybe a series of unfortunate events; however, event staff was less than pleasant and no social distancing guidelines whatsoever. Did not say cash only on website... went and didn’t have cash- the lady seemed annoyed at us and told us to drive down road and use atm. Went to tgT atm- it was out of cash. Drove to another atm . Finally got in to the race for national anthem and immediately our son wanted to go home. Spent a total of $26 and asked for money back or even ticket to future race and she said no.
