OMG! Most random find of a nail salon. I recently moved to the area, any ladies know that finding your new nail salon and tech is sometimes more heartbreaking than a breakup lol. Originally I was going to check out the salon 3 mins from my condos but it was a Sunday and they were getting ready to close. I called lavender , let them know I was about 20 mins out give or take they said no problem ! It was so nice in there! Not overly frilly but nice ambiance but was offered a drink immediately upon walking in and also was sat immediately with Jenna (she may not know this yet ..but she's my new best friend. ) 𤣠she did not deviate at ALL from my requests of please keeping my shape the shape and just a small trim and file down. She kept the shape perfect. I'm an almond shape gal but I HATE when they get too pointy at the tips. She if anything , perfected my shape I already had. I normally do acrylic /gel she offered if id like to try this gel based acrylic . Not dip. Not acrylic. I figured I'd give it a go. I love it ! Tried out this new marbles looking polish we've all been seeing and was pretty cool to watch how they created the affect with the tool they use. She was super friendly, took her time and was thorough but not to the point that it's taking so long you're dying to get out of there. Let's say she just def knew what she was doing. I believe she's the owners wife. I may be wrong. Regardless ,... It seemed like everyone being serviced was also having a great experience as I looked to my other side and around. I'm a new regular and SO happy I stumbled upon this salon. It's in the Tampa premier outlet, if you're having a hard time finding it , look for the Guess store and they are right on the other inside of that. !! Thanks guys you'll see me in...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had been coming here since last year and always had good experiences. I would get dip. I decided to venture out from my norm and asked for gel ombrĆ©.. Moon did it and she did an amazing job. When I went back, I had another woman (Mindy) who didnāt soak the gel off of my nails despite me commenting that something didnāt seem right in the process several times. She laid acrylic over my old gel. She also burned me with the drill more times I can count to where she broke my skin and actually put glue on my nail beds to stop from burning them any further. About a week after the fill, I noticed on my right hand that you could see dark discoloration from where the acrylic was laid on last to where the old dip was. Two weeks into it, I had one nail fall off and I had a nice wonderful fungus growing underneath. The same thing happened to 4 other nails on the same hand. In 15 years of having my nails done on and off, Iāve never in my life had a fungus. I used to travel 45 minutes for this salon, by the way. So I went here because my friends and I liked it- not because it was convenient. I went to a local salon who was able to remove the old dip out from underneath- it took forever and it was painful considering they had to use a nail tip to practically pry it off. Part of me didnāt want to write this, but if something seems off when youāre getting your nails done- tell them to stop until your questions are answered! She was so quick to wave me off like I didnāt remember what was done to my hands the last time I was there. I also paid $20 less for the āsame thingā that I had done the first time- as in, I paid more for the dip the first time and then $20 less the next time because it was acrylic. Lesson learned. Picture is from 2 weeks out.....

My friend & i decided to do our nails last minute so we called ahead to make sure that we can get there by 7pm and receive services. She said it was completely fine so we showed up. I told a lady, who seemed to be the manager, that i wanted the remainder of my dip nails to be removed, cleanup of cuticles, the whole manicure. She tells the nail tech I just need a removal. During the service the nail tech is complaining about the manager and how she accepts people too close to closing time and expects them to be okay with staying later than what they're scheduled. Naturally i feel bad for the workers and at this point im not going to tell her i wanted the manicure.... Not just removal and have her stay longer than intended when the manager was the one who instructed her wrong. At the end of service manager looks at us and says don't you also want to get cuticles cleaned and do a manicure? I say no im okay bc like i said, hearing nail tech complain, i felt bad and didnt want to have her stay longer. Manager should have told her the correct service requested from the beginning.
Nail tech asks manager how much for the removal, she says "$10.... Actually $20". Im sorry? $20 to remove FOUR nails?? She tried to upcharge me. I told her i only got 4 nails to remove not a whole set. She then left it at $10, online it says $12 for set removal. That should be $1.20 per nail, meaning $5 worth of removal product/service... given this isnt a FULL SET. My friend got dip and even this was done incorrectly. Nails were...
