Very aggressive sales people there for commissions. My wife and I were shopping with our 2 month old. We were trying to just shop peacefully but at every corner, there was a salesperson aggressively trying to sell us things and tell us their name for commission. Didn’t think Ralph Lauren operated like this. The worst of them all was Alla. She followed us everywhere we went and kept annoying us. She even told her coworkers that she was assigned to kids but followed us everywhere, literally harassing us every 2-3 minutes. We didn’t want her help and even at checkout, she put her employee ID in at the register on her own. She went in front of the cashier and put her information in, where the cashier said she is not allowed to do that. ALLA DID NOT HELP US! The person that really helped us was Alan, but we couldn’t even say his name because she cut him off and wanted her sales commissions. So she stole someone else’s commission and really created an uncomfortable environment for my family and I. First time visiting a factory store, but I’m better off buying Ralph Lauren at the mall where we are not harassed! We did not feel like customers there, only money signs, and we spent...
Read moreI’ve been to multiple Polo store especially in New York City (hometown) and I have never seen such a bad attitude/aggressive in the workers. Yesterday I had items in my hand and Alla( employee ) was scanning clothes for broken security sensors. She got close to me and “tactically” scanned what was in my hand. I asked her would you like to check and she played stupid obviously this is a leadership problem poor old lady is just trying to do her job. I don’t understand every time I go to the store I buy something and as an ex-law enforcement officer this stores leadership has failed at picking out the people who they think are going to steal. Your trading customer service for a nasty disgusting experience, the only reason I go to this Polo store is because it’s so close. If you have a loss prevention issue hire a door man for 9 dollars an hour and return to the great Polo experience. I guarantee if this treatment from these employees didn’t exist I would definitely spend more money it’s Polo the clothes are great but you’re killing...
Read moreI shop at Polo regularly. I’ve never once returned any items. Yesterday was my first time and I will say I was made to feel like I had stolen the items I was returning simply because one shirt, that did not fit me, was missing it’s tag. I did have receipts for all. I drive from Riverview to exclusively shop at Polo. In stood there for close to 25 minute for 3 items being returned. Finally, she lead states she can only refund to the card that was used, I questioned it bc I’m not sure that card is open anymore, what do I do if it is closed? What happens to the credit? Then she defaulted to “we can use a different card.” I told her this was not as smooth of a return as I thought it would be from Polo stores. She giggled. Both employees made me feel unwelcome and it may take time for me to come back...
