The Smoke House produces fine bacon, smoked meats, including a wide variety of smoked sausage, jerky and fabulous bacon. The piece de resistance of this Smoke House are the fine hams. They have perfect flavor, color and texture. They are lightly salted. They would get high praise in any English country town or French village.

He English sausages are a masterpiece. They are a perfect reproduction of the famed English "Banger". These just have to be sampled.

In addition, their is a fine selection of fine beef and pork to be had. One of the things I like is that he has wonderful marrow bones, with lots of meat on the bones. These are perfect for producing the finest beef stocks. Fine stocks are one of the foundation pillars of fine cooking. These marrow bones are the perfect starting point.

In addition you can stay for lunch and sample the hamburgers made from the finest ground beef.

Luckily I drive by this grocery store almost everyday because they have the best meat I’ve ever cooked with and eaten! for thanksgiving we made a smokehouse ham and it was the best ham I’ve ever eaten in my 43 years. It’s a must try if you haven’t already. And thank you to all that work here, you’re all always so nice and helpful. It’s so nice to walk into a store and be greeted and not feel like you’re putting anyone out no matter what time of day it is. The best small town grocery store we've been to. The prices are very reasonable, employees are super nice, and the selection of meats, pickles, veggies, and all kinds of snacks is top notch. The take and bake pizza is AMAZING, hands down way better then the junk they sell for twice the price in Walker. The Mack's big dogs are PHENOMENAL. Could eat them everyday and never get sick of them. A great place! I will miss it a lot when...
