Oak Street Tattoo LLC — Local services in Lathrop

My wife had made an appointment a month and a half in advance. During that time the Covid-19 was starting to make its way into the media. Heather, the Owner of Oak street tattoo, made an announcement on social media that she was closing shops and no longer taking appointments until further notice. My wife had paid a $50 deposit. My wife and I were traveling from Oklahoma to visit family and get tattoos. Heather did not reach out personally to my wife, she found out 1 day before her appointment through word of mouth that the shop was closed. From that point, we reached out to Heather through all means possible, Facebook, PayPal, email, text and phone. Heather continued to ignore my wife for 2 months. When we finally got ahold of her she stated the deposit was non-refundable, we explained that we lived in Oklahoma and could not reschedule. She understood and stated she would give the deposit back after she went to the bank in KC. Said it would be a few days. Well 2 weeks later I decided to call Heather, I introduced myself and she instantly said, “Oh yeah, I’ll get that to you in 10 minutes.” 10 minutes later, $20 of the $50 was refunded, she stated she doesn’t use PayPal often and needed to use another card, she would send the rest that night. Surprise surprise, no $30 was sent. She finally send the last $30 today with a note stating to never contact her again. Heather is one of the most unprofessional business owners I have EVER met. Her character, and the lack of communication and responsibility leads me to this review. I would never recommend her or he business to ANYONE! Good luck running a business like...

Took my daughter to have her ears pierced today. She’s turning 8 and was very excited. Heather was so great with her. She explained every step and talked directly to her. Heather had everything ready to go and my kiddo got scared and decided not to get her ears pierced…and that’s okay! Omggg i loved the service , the place is very clean, everyone are really nice, Heather got me 4 piercings total, 1 nose piercing and 3 ear ones.
