I had never been to Hungry Mule before they closed, so when everyone was raving about it on Facebook about how delicious and home-cooked their food was, I was thrilled to try it when they opened. Our waitress was hands-down the rudest person on the face of the planet. I don't even know where to start. She did not greet us warmly at all, nor did she take our drink orders nicely either. With all the raving, I was disappointed when I saw they just had your run of the mill, cheap American diner food like just sandwiches and breakfast. All greasy and fried. It was another woman who had to fill up our waters, and when I tried to order breakfast our original rude waitress goes "oh, it's going to take 20 minutes to clean off the grill. I guess I should have told you that beforehand." Uh, yeah. You should have. I still wanted to give it a chance. The french dip sandwich was the okayest thing I'd ever eaten. I had to ask the other nicer waitress if that was our food, still trying to be excited about it. She was going to get it until the other waitress finally snapped into service mode. THEN, at the end I tried to pay, and she rudely looked at my card and said "We're cash or check only." I asked her, "Is there a sign somewhere that says that?" She just looked around and went, "Uh. No." Not to mention, I had to wait at the counter for a few minutes while I literally watched her text and dork around on her cell phone with me RIGHT THERE. I knew she knew I was there cuz she started texting faster to hurry to me. If you're into cheap diner food, this place is great for you. I ended up tipping the other waitress when I came back from getting cash but I...

So I left and went somewhere else to eat. Went back again last Sunday at 12:30 in afternoon when they're supposed to be open and it's closed. It won't be getting any more of my business I'm not going to waste my time driving...
Read moreTheres something you just can't beat about a hometown diner. The smell of coffee as soon as you open the door. The tinging of forks scraping up the last bit of yolk covered hashbrowns. The quite chatter amongst all the locals. If your looking for a great breakfast spot with that down home feel I highly recommend you stop on by and give them a try. You wont be...
