N & K On Time Mobile Tires LLC — Local services in Lauderhill

In early September, I called this company for help with a flat tire outside a movie theater. I originally thought I had a nail in my tire, but they showed me that the tire was actually ripped. They quoted me $190 for the repair due to the distance, late hour, and situation — which I understood, even though it was more than I expected. When I told them I couldn’t afford that, they agreed to $150 and assured me I’d be getting a new tire, not a used one. I asked several questions to make sure I wasn’t being taken advantage of, especially after being scammed by another tire company earlier this year. I even asked them to place my ripped tire safely in the trunk so I could return it to the other company.

However, less than a week later, the “new tire” they installed began having problems. I called back and spoke with the same person who had helped me originally, but this time he was very dismissive and told me that the tire was actually a “new used tire.” That completely contradicted what I was told during the first visit. Even though the issue happened within a week, he quoted me another $150 to fix it.

This was extremely frustrating and unfair. One of the workers, Malcolm (the same person I sent the payment to), had even told me, “You should be good for a while.” & I would hope because that was supposed to be a new “new tire”. I understood his words because as mentioned before. The “new tire” i previously got from another tire company scammed me.

That was when I realized this company isn’t for the people — they’re for themselves. I’m not upset about the cost of services — I understand businesses have expenses. But what bothers me is the dishonesty and lack of integrity. This company misled me, and I want others to be aware. In times like these, people deserve honest and transparent service, not deception...

We got a flat tire on 95 North bound just a few miles from FLL. Got out of the car and a guy pulls up with a beautiful white work van and says he does tire service. We were a little wary because we are broken down. He handed us his card and we said sure. Anyway this gentleman took our tire off, plugged the tire and put it back on all in about 8 minutes. He was friendly, courteous and very fast. I highly recommend these guys. I didn’t get his name but he was super nice. We got really lucky, he stopped right after we broke down. ...
