I emailed these people for a refund, simply stating that I wasn’t able to attend one of their programs. But all I was met with was extremely vague responses from Bailus that avoided directly addressing my refund request like, “Information has been forwarded to the school” or “your email has been forwarded”. Mind you, most normal businesses would something like say, “Hello, we will refund you and you will receive your money within X amount of days” or something in that ballpark, but not this place. It’s clear that they had no intention to refund me. I also called the school twice, the receptionist wasn’t much help either. After a bit of back-and forth emails, i sent two more emails and both got ignored, so I’m over it. I don’t have time for these games.
The reason I wasn’t able to attend was because enrolled in a remote/in-person CNA + Home Health Aide course scheduled to begin on March 3rd, with the first week designated as online learning—as clearly stated in an email from Steven (picture proof below). According to that email, I was supposed to receive learning materials, videos, and questions via email during the first week. I didn’t have to log into anything, they said. However, I never received any of these promised resources nor a follow up email after the week passed. And I checked everything, including my spam folder.
This was a bad experience and I will be reporting this place to the Florida Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau for failing to provide a class that I paid for and then failing to give me a refund for the class that I...
Read moreHi everyone just posting about my wondering experience at this career training school. I am a prenursing student working my way to get into nursing school. I’ve got denied from nursing school twice and I lost all motivation in this career path at one point. However, I’ve decided instead of sitting around and waiting for the next application cycle to come around I wanted to put a foot into this field. That’s where I google the best CNA course to take in my area and that’s where I found this school. I felt welcome the first day I step foot in this facility and met the nice ladies & gentlemen in the front. They told me not to be nervous and that the teacher would take good care of us. The first day of class when I first met my teacher Mrs.Marva I had no doubt this class is where I suppose to belong. Mrs.Marva is bright, energetic, and most importantly enjoy what she teaches. She motivate her students that no matter age or other difficulty in life that it’s never to late to go back to school and that if we have positive mindset and strong will that no matter what obstacle stands in our way that we will be able to overcome it. Anyways it was a pleasure being part of this big happy family and thank you for all the support that I receive. I hope anyone who read this will be as motivated as I am after taking this course and...
Read moreI want to thank all of the staff at the Lauderdale Lakes Center for Career Center for your time dedication and your support. Mrs. Nisha’s (Receptionist} warm welcome was the beginning of my 1st impression of the school. Mr. Steven (director) was so humble and nice in explaining the programs and working with me for the school payments. Mrs. Marva Hopkins was my CNA teacher she was so patient and encouraging to every student that was in her class. It did not matter if you were as young as 18 or older than 60 she makes you feel like you can do anything. Mrs. Hall my EKG and my Phlebotomy teacher she is down to earth and very caring. I took the Patient Care Technician program there and I am proud to say I passed my state board exam. I am a single mom and the school hours are very flexible you can take classes in the morning and in the evenings. The staff is very professional and they make it fun. No gimmicks they are straight forward. They even help you prepare with sample test and some teachers stay in their spare time for practice practical’s all aimed for your success. This school was a referral to me and I passed by there almost every day in prior years and never noticed it. Made friends with some nice students there too. Thank you all for...
