To sum it up in one word, awesome experience. The Great Meadow Farm and Market is not just an amazing place but it is a unique one. Founded and run by the creative team behind the gastronomic oasis of a restaurant, Elements in Princeton, headed by Chef Scott Anderson and Executive Chef Mike Ryan, the Great Meadow offers carefully selected freshly grown produce, from striped eggplant to Japanese Tokyo scallions, from edible flowers to Thai and Lemon basil tops, from Brandywine and Sungold to Pint and Black Cherry tomatoes, locally foraged chanterelles and black trumpets, from tomatilos to sage, garlic chive, chocolate mint, and thyme among other specialties such as potatoes, spring onions, numerous kinds of hot and sweet peppers, turnips, kale and fennel. The famous Elements breads, their legendary sourdough and spelt, yogurt made on premises, hot sauce, and summer squash hummus are also offered as well as authentic Italian products (extra virgin olive oil in bottles or artisanal ceramic jars by Le Ferre) proudly presented by the amiable host Salvatore Galati. Don't forget to try his own delicious Sal's Chix Mix seasoning. You can either subscribe to Weekly Farmers Box, make your purchases online à la carte, or just stop by and choose among the vast varieties of products the Great Meadow is distinguished in. Highly recommended.

Can not recommend their csa program. Their hours are so inconvenient (Thursday-Saturday 11:40-3:30). Despite their limited hours, on multiple occasions I arrived during their business hours to find the store was closed with no reason as to why or for how long. I was only ever able to go on Saturday, so when they were closed on their Saturday I just wasn’t able to get my order for the week.

I reached out to them and was in touch with Beth. I emailed her at first on July 19th, and to this day, October 5, have yet to receive a refund for any of the weeks they were closed. She initially told me on July 22nd I would be receiving a refund, and then ignored any follow up emails until September 15. They again promised to issue a refund, but still have not, despite following up on October 3.

In addition, for the last two weeks, they reduced their hours to only be open from 10-12 on Saturdays, making it even more difficult to pick up orders. Veggies were mostly good, when I did get them, though the final box contained a number of moldy and rotten veggies and was missing my...

Visited to see what all the fusses were about. There wasn't much there! Maybe if you are a CSA member your experience would have been different?? When I went there today the succulents were dying on the display. Not much vegetable on the stand. I was hoping to walk around the farm area but the area was condoned off. I honestly didn't know why I was there. I couldn't recommend it to anyone I know. Maybe I picked...
