Queen City Fireworks is off the beaten path and will sneak up on you with minimal signage out front in a way that makes you feel like you might have just stumbled upon one of the best kept secrets in the tri-state. The entrance is a regular sized open door allowing the summer breeze to trickle in. That's right, no glass doors with automatic openers here, this place is legit. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted in a very welcoming manner that makes you ready to spend your last paycheck to light the night sky. The store (as I would find out later) had just experienced its biggest day in history and everyone was very busy restocking the shelves. Workers would breeze by pointing out different cakes and mortars that they really liked and made sure my kids saw the wall that was dedicated to "Fill a Bag for $15!" promotion which I made sure my kids took advantage of. As I was walking through trying to sort out what was the best bang for my buck, an employee came by (Eric) and asked if I needed help. I told him what type of show I wanted to put on and he was very helpful pointing things out that would give us the reactions we wanted.
With how wonderful the entire experience was, I feel like the thing I like best was the pricing scheme. Prices were fair, but also were very well marked utilizing packages of bottle rockets to display the cost of the various cakes and fountains. Labels were able to be easily read and understood.
I highly recommend this establishment.....if you can find it. (Seriously, that's...
Read moreOur family all pitches in every year towards fireworks and we have really been wanting to find a place we can stick to every year and know we are being taken care with not only pricing, but with knowledge and guidance for the best firework show ever. Well we found our place!!! I read a review of Queen City Fireworks and recommended we make the drive to check them out to my family members. The guy answering the phones and does the checkout is the BEST. I made a few calls first and he was so friendly and he was the only one out of all the places I called that didn’t make me feel like I was bothering him!!
We got there and he brought the owner Eric over to us to help us create a great firework package and WOW, he exceeded our expectations and beyond! He certainly knows his products and was not the least pushy or bothered that some of us asked a lot of questions. We have never been treated so kindly and boy did he load us up!!! We would have NEVER gotten all that we did going to any other place, we know that from experience.
Don’t bother going to other places since we have done that for you the past 20 years. You won’t find cheaper prices anywhere or such great, friendly people to help you out. All of us left talking about what a great experience we had and they have earned our business from here on out!!! We finally found the absolute best place to find fireworks which has the best team there to help you and we couldn’t be...
Read moreFireworks in our area were made legal today, so my husband and I wanted to make an impromptu trip to Queen City Fireworks cause we wanted to hang out with friends tomorrow. I picked Queen City Fireworks off a list at random, and told me husband on the way "we can always try another place closer when we have more time to plan" Well. By the time we walked out of there we both decided, nope, this is our place. All the the staff were welcoming and helpful. And they were all very nice to our 3 rescues we had with us. They even helped point us to specific fireworks that were quieter and more pet friendly since we don't want to scare our fur babies. It's pretty unassuming from the outside but don't let it fool you, selection was plentiful. And prices were good too! We've been to warehouses of fireworks and while they are massive, you aren't treated so attentively like Queen City.
I'll definitely bring my Tripawd Max there again, he's always a fan favorite and he loved all the attention he was getting. My pups can misbehave but it's awesome to find places...
