AJ Butcher Block — Local services in Le Flore

We really enjoyed our chance to visit this deli/butcher. The meat display is really lovely and very appetizing. They are very different in the sense that they have just incredible types of me a wide variety of species and they are very ethical and clean. Definitely not your average butcher. Prices are good and you can get it all kinds of information from the folks behind the counter. They also have several aisles of routine Pantry food as well as refrigerated foods. There are also some rocking chairs out front which are nice to sit and chat in while you eat a sandwich. The parking lot and the store are all on one level so handicap can get in and out easily and it's all been very recently laid concrete so rolling across it is also easy for the handicap in a wheelchair. Talahina is extremely lucky to have them. Good selection and fair prices and a very friendly helpful staff. I have only lived in talahina a few months but this is one of my "go to " places. I have to also add the bad the last 2 or 3 times I have went there they have had the isles blocked with pallets of stock. Evidently they just got a truck in and think it all has to be put out immediately . Everytime I walk in and see this I just turn around and leave. I doubt I am the only one that feels this way. It makes much more sense to take buggies of product out and stock it and not prevent your customers from being able to go down the...

I love this store!!!! The meat is always fabulous. It doesn't shrink like a lot of places. Plus they have a little bit of everything youd look for in a grocery store. Great service!!!! Everyone that works there is always smiling, helpful and so welcoming. You walk in and instantly feel like you've known the employees your whole life. This is a home town feeling place.
