DG Market — Local services in Le Roy

I don't know what happened at the dollar general in LeRoy. But it has went down hill in the last couple weeks. You can't go in there when a item is on sale and get it. For example totes went on sale and did not have a lid to fit the few that was there in stock. The people that work there are cluless. They don't know where anything is and no customer service skills what so ever. Don't buy gift cards in there you won't get home with them. I bought one for 25.00 to outback steak house was charged for it on my ticket. Called up there thinking they might have it. The girl said she put it in my sack I looked in every sack was not there. My mom also bought one and found it in a bunch of artificial flowers. Who does that they schould be handed back to the customer. I ask if they could void that card and issue a new one. She told me she would look at the tape and see if it was put in bag. I spend average 100.00 everyother week there and so does my mom. We will be going somewhere else from now on. The service is always good.... but always out of stuff. Dollar general employees should be able to order the store but they are not allowed corporate orders the store with that being said they have a ton of stuff they dont need and nothing they do need.Was in there tonight lots of empty holes. So it would be great if corporate would just send promo stuff and let manager/ employees order the store. I feel if that happened yall would not be out of stuff so often and the employees could focus more on the store instead of unloading containers that are ful of stuff they...

I appreciate that we have this store in our town. However, when there is all the incoming stock carts out on the floor blocking items we WANT to purchase... it's Absolutely Ridiculous!! When I asked why I couldn't purchase my items because I was blocked out, I was told the Manager Shantell doesn't like all the product in the back! Let me tell you this, you are losing customers right and left. LeRoy people are now shopping in Farmer City and Bloomington because of this mess!! Someone needs to fix this...
