Kirby Foods LeRoy — Local services in Le Roy

Been to this location twice in two weeks. Traveling for work and stopped in to get some stuff for snacks and lunches. A little pricey.. which is surprising for a small town USA store. I come from a larger city in Illi ois and the prices are 3/4 of these. You would think it'd be the opposite?

Produce is a disaster. It looks like no one has gone through it in days. Bought two blackberries from way in the back cause the ones infront were molded. They were flavorless. Bought a navel orange that looked great but again. Flavorless. Sucks cause you want to support a smaller grocery store like this but they don't care about what they're customers consume.

Giving them two stars though because their customer service is good. They have really friendly cashiers and baggers. The stockers say hi every time...

Overpriced - usual for a small town.

Would not go back after today. They had multiple employees test positive for COVID. Rather than let the community know, they are hiding that from the public that employees tested positive. It's a small town and trying to hide it is a joke. The potential exposure from the employees to customers could have passed it along which results in customers passing it on rather than isolating.

This is a small store but it's got a good variety a groceries in stock. It also has a very good Delicatessen with hot meals available and sandwiches and of course sliced meats and cheeses. If you were in the area and need to stop for gas it's usually one of the least expensive areas to get gas at any of the stations and just up the road is this IGA store for some groceries snacks or whatever you need about about three blocks north of the...
