DO NOT buy a used car from this dealership. Worst dealership Iāve done business with between TX, FL, VA, & CA in over ten years. I sold cars in a former life, and have bought at least a dozen over the course my life thus far. It is very clear that this dealership does not thoroughly inspect cars when they take them in on trade, nor detail them very well, and they seek, not surprisingly, to sell them for as much profit as possible, which would be fine if they actually sold you a good product. I purchased a 2015 Nissan Murano that had been taken in on trade and was priced at least $5k above what they paid for it (speculation based on experience & research), and well above book value. The engine compartment was very dirty, as were all the normal spots for a car with 70k+ miles on it, even after the "detail." I'm already not impressed at this point. When my kids first crawled into the back only one seatbelt would actually fasten, as the latches and belts are not interchangeable. Wouldn't be much of an issue except that one of the latches was so buried under the seat we nearly had to take the seat completely out to recover it. Again, how was this not fixed during their however-many-point inspection, which I'm convinced they don't actually do. What sealed the deal for the one-star review is that they handed me two keys, however, only one of them works. Again, shouldāve been discovered during a pre-sale inspection, which Iām sure was not completed. I've been told for a month now that they'll fix the key and call me when they're ready to do it, but I've heard nothing after over five phone calls. They made AT LEAST $2k margin on this car, and aren't willing to spend $100-$150 on a dysfunctional key that they handed me assuming it would work. This dealership does less than half-ass work and demands full-service prices. Avoid this dealership!

Folks, this is exactly what Iām talking about. AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP and buy a car from a company that does business right the first time, not one that makes a half-ass effort to piece together the crumbs they made.
UPDATE 3: It's been over a month since the ink was dry on this deal. My bank has not received any title paperwork and I have not received any registration documents. I called this afternoon, had to select the sales option after the third try because any other department doesn't answer, and was told the paperwork was completed just this week. I rarely write bad reviews, but Iām absolutely flabbergasted by this dealershipās lack of care and communication.
I first came to Leander Hyundai after a friend recommended them, expecting great service. Instead, I experienced the complete opposite. My power steering failed, and I went in seeking help ā not to buy a car which led the whole attitude to shift as i was clearly not there to make a purchase.
After hours of back-and-forth, I was told it was āup to meā if I wanted to drive off in a car with bad power steering and that they werenāt responsible if something happened to me and my kids. They told me that I was basically out of any options and walking was my best bet and theyre confident its what theyd do to anyone in this situation. I recommended they find an alternative because thats horrible. They let me walk over a mile to meet my ride after refusing to help.
It took days and multiple calls to management before they finally arranged a rental. As a single working mom, this was stressful, expensive, and unnecessarily difficult while being completely looked down on and disrespected the whole process.. I was reassured not to worry about my carās burning oil issue since it was covered under warranty up to 100,000 miles ā but to ādo one thing at a time.ā I was also already aware of the issue by a trusted mechanic I went straight to and he gave me what I needed and called dealership for me to then put down his shop and take pride of theirs. Which was so disgusting and not professional. That "shop" could've ripped me off but instead. was honest and sent me to where I needed to go and gave me the exact information to provide them. I was shocked to hear how they treated other companies around. It was overall horrible.
Now, after trying to bring my car back in given the continued issue and seems to be more have came up, I was told Iād need to pay because they wont cover. I am second owner yet was told confidently im good im covered. And he upfront wont ever provide a loaner (something never mentioned before or addressed at the car swap to get mine back) and that they wouldnāt honor the warranty as previously promised. Even worse ā theyāre now faulting me, yet they never called, emailed, or tried to contact me after he said he just handled it and left it be - but wants to fault me for his choice of not notifying me? That was their choice, not mine.
This kind of lack of professionalism, empathy, and accountability is beyond disappointing. I would rather ride a bike for the rest of my life or walk everywhere than ever go back to this dealership. Talk about a let down, so so...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI recently had my 2021 Hyundai Tucson serviced and I'm very happy to tell you that this is hands down the best Hyundai service department I've EVER BEEN TO!
I've been to Hyundai service in Ohio, Florida and the ones here in Round Rock and Buda and let me tell you how this experience absolutely exceeded my expectations:
#1 Sarah(?) who took my call was pleasant and helpful and assured me that a service advisor would give me a call back and answer my questions.
#2 Martin the service advisor called me back within 10 minutes and very thoroughly explained the process to my services (coolant flush, transmission flush, spark plugs and tuneup). He never rushed my call, he was patient, kind and informative. Most importantly, he educated me about this preventative maintenance and how and when to approach these services again in the future.
#3 they scheduled me for the FOLLOWING MORNING at 8am and they were the first dealership to ever offer me an Uber to drive me home!
#4 Martin explained to me how long the process would take (which I didn't believe since it has ALWAYS been longer). And guess what, it took exactly the amount of time I was quoted.
#5 Once I arrived, Martin took me on a tour of the service area, including where drinks and snacks are, where the waiting area is, the restrooms and bottle filling station and gave me a tour to show me the sitting area where you can WATCH THE MECHANICS WORK ON YOUR VEHICLE. Talk about transparency! I was able to see that my vehicle was pulled into the bay within 15 minutes of arriving at the service department.
#6 the charging stations have both USB and USB-C outlets and plenty of 4 prongs for your devices.
#7 when I pulled into the garage, the floors were absolutely SPOTLESS!
#8 Everything was spotless!
#9 They tech took a video of my vehicle and the service suggestions and sent it to my email. Also you have texting and email contact with your advisor the whole time
#10 when I arrived back to pickup my vehicle, they already had it pulled into the garage HAND WASHED, DRIED, and had the door open for me.
#11 other service members asked if I needed to be helped and everyone was calm, cool and collected. No added stress, and no treating me like I was bothering them at their jobs.
I can confidently say that I will only trust this service department from now on to handle my vehicle and I am once again proud to be a Hyundai Owner!
