10/10 Such a great experience that I’m wiring a review for the first time.
My girlfriend, her brother, his wife, and me drove from Seattle for a beginner snowmobile tour. The friendly and helpful staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time.
We showed up 15 mins before our tour time (they recommended 30) and the staff worked extremely fast to make sure we wouldn’t miss any time snowmobiling. Very kind of them considering we arrived late.
After getting fitted for some boots and helmets, we received detailed instructions on how to drive and how to safely follow the tour leader. It made us feel comfortable snowmobiling for the first time.
Once we started, the couple in front of us in the tour had a tough time operating the snowmobile. Our tour leader was very patient and helped them learn to drive which was very nice of them. However, we initially spent a few mins idling while the couple learned to steer.
That’s when my man Mark stepped in. Mark was either a manager or the owner of the place. He realized we were waiting and swooped in to take us on a separate tour so we wouldn’t waste any time. He was extremely friendly, animated, and just a fun person all around.
At one point when we stopped, Mark took some great photos of our group. He even got on his knees to throw snow up in the air while we sat on the snowmobile to get the perfect “action shot.” To top it off he even gave us some great recommendations for places to eat and drink in nearby...
Read moreWe booked a 3 hour ride. Check in was smooth. Helmets and clothing were clean and in very good condition. The machines looked almost brand new. The instructor/guide we had was polite, professional and gave clear instructions, although maybe a little fast for beginners. The snow conditions were just a little slushy vs powder, but the machines did very well. The area itself is beautiful and that's where the 4 stars come in. We only stopped twice. Once a few minutes after we started to make sure everyone was doing OK and to practice proper leaning for curves. The other time was when we stopped for a short break high above a lake. The view was great and a little snow was falliing... gorgeous. However, there were other beautiful places we passed (creeks/streams, etc.) that we would have liked to stop at, even for a few minutes, just to drink it in for a while and maybe take a picture or two. I understand that they can't please everyone and that it may not be practical to offer a "sightseeing" tour and a "motocross" tour but that's what I would have liked. The business itself seems like a quality outfit and I would definitely return here if I felt like doing a...
Read moreGreat experience, despite no great views due to weather. Staff was friendly and helpful. Groups were small and grouped by skill, so nobody was really holding up the pack. Didn't go very fast (
