**3rd update -The Escape died within 15 months. Out thousands of $$! We would never recommend this dealership! **2nd update!!!! 7.5 weeks later we finally have the car in running condition! Wow what a scam this has been. There was not an ABS unit part to be found from Ford or anywhere in the country as apparently this is a big problem so we finally found a used part and had our mechanic go that route. Almost $2500 more in repairs than we paid for the car we have it running. 8 weeks of trying to share one car between 2 working adults while our son had to take my husband’s car to drive in another state. This has been beyond a nightmare for our family having to deal with D. Patrick Ford and their lies. **Update!! Wow not only did the dealer do all we said below by fraudulently selling us an unsafe vehicle and have no desire to make it right, they also can’t pay attention to detail with documents. They have sent someone else’s application for certificate of title instead of ours, to us at our address. While we wait to pay for plates for a car we can’t even drive because it sits waiting on parts to fix it at our service shop, we are sent someone else’s documents.Yet another example of how inept they are at D. Patrick Ford. **BUYERS BEWARE! Worst experience with buying a vehicle we have ever had. We were looking for a reliable and SAFE used car for our out of state college student. This was a very unfortunate dealing altogether, and from a very unprofessional sales manager, Greg Floyd, in our opinion. From the misrepresentations of the vehicle, to locking us out in the cold to close the deal with one of his young staff members, to hanging up on me when he didn't like to hear me reiterate that he lied to my face twice. We will not recommend this dealer (or its extension in Evansville after dealing with the General Manager Peter O'Daniel, who by the way told me he was the owner). We were specifically told the brakes would be serviced and it was safe and that they inspected them thoroughly before we were to pick it up the next day after initial test drive and I felt the brakes were bad. (*Please see at least 16-1 star reviews for their service department! Wish we would have!) While driving it off the lot on the highway home after purchase we realized the vehicle had some serious issues. We took it to our mechanic the next business day to find out it needed not only brakes and the ABS system was bad but about $3000 in total work to make it safe. The tie rods and ball joints were "past allowable tolerance (unsafe)" again after we were told the vehicle passed it's safety inspection. We requested to return the car for money back that next business day, as it was within the 3 day "cooling off" contract rule but we were told no they would not allow that. The parts for the ABS system won't even come in before the end of November, so not only did we buy an unsafe, unreliable vehicle from this lot that was represented to be both of those things, my son (who lives in another state and works and goes to school) won't even have a vehicle for at least a month once we do the ADDITIONAL $3000 in unexpected repairs. We pleaded with the dealership for some sort of compromise. They offered a trade of a like vehicle. Literally there was not another vehicle on their lot for a similar price (even if we added in the $3000 we would pay in repairs - that we have already sunk several hundred into anyway for them to find all of the issues) or similar body condition (this vehicle is in very good condition on the outside) so there is no equal trade to be had. All vehicles had many more miles or years, or lesser quality. We requested they step up and redeem themselves and contribute to the brakes they promised they had fixed and they will not even do that. We are happy to share our bad experience to everyone and anyone who asks. We are considering our legal options at this point but just know when you buy and sign "as is" from this lot, they will in all likelihood swindle you and sell you a misrepresented faulty vehicle just to get it...
Read moreI am going to share my experiences with D-Patrick Lebanon Ford in July of 2022. I was in the market for an electric car with the gas prices rising and was able to work with this dealership to trade in my F150 for an electric 2016 BMW i3 that was featured on their website. Since I live five hours away in Michigan, I had to make the trip to turn in the F150 and drive the other vehicle home. I started with an internet inquiry which was promptly answered by Jan and she did a great job of providing me with the information and also answering all my questions. After that Taylor reached out to me and did a great job answering my questions and providing me information about the vehicle and process. He went above and beyond responding to text messages and contacted me on several occasions to provide me with updates. Once we set a date to pick up the vehicle, he also provided me with everything I would need in order to make it work on the Saturday in July that I would drive down. Once I arrived at the dealership, I was greeted by staff and was made to feel very welcome. The entire process took less than two hours and once set, I was able to make the drive back to Michigan. I also worked with Owen, the finance manager, who also did a great job explaining all the financial nuances to me. Once I arrived home, I had the car for two days before I had the first issue. On day three of having the vehicle, I came outside to leave for work and found that the car was completely dead. After some troubleshooting and several YouTube videos, I learned that the 12 volt battery in the car had about a 3 - 5 year shelf life. Being a 2016, it was time to replace the original battery. I was surprised that the battery passed inspection when they had the vehicle and would have thought with such low voltage levels, they would have replaced it. I did have some correspondence with the dealership, but at no point did anyone offer to order the battery and have it shipped to me. The car was under a 3000 mile/3 month warranty, but I figured I would have to drive the car back for service, which was a problem because it was completely dead. I did correspondence with the dealership and would have thought it a nice gesture for them to order the 12 volt battery and have it shipped to me, but it never came up. Regardless, I did order the battery for 160 dollars and after several days it arrived and I installed it myself. Car fired right up and has been going strong (knock on wood) since. My experience with Jane, Taylor, and Owen was positive and I appreciated the hard work they put in to making this transaction very smooth. Other than the issue with the battery, it was a...
Read moreSo I took my vehicle in for a break repair and first of all it said on the website that a set of brakes for the front or back was $250 so I assumed going into the dealership that I was going to pay somewhere between three to $400 for parts on top of that so I get there for my appointment they get my vehicle in pretty quickly, but I was also told it would only take an hour or two I sat there for almost 3 1/2 4 hours and finally ended up having to walk my daughter to school because the vehicle was not done and then when I first got there, I told them that I had already had two other diagnosis of back brakes and master cylinder, the guy at the front made it seem like whoever claimed it was the master cylinder was crazy his exact words “who said that because it is definitely the front brakes” so now I have three different diagnosis so at this point, I trusted ford and said whatever just fix it. I just need brakes. The guy reassured me multiple times that it was the front brakes and that I would have brakes when I left their business so they had to order the parts I had to pay half of it upfront, which ended up being almost $800 not what I assumed would be three $400. I went ahead and paid over half of it. It was 580 something dollars upfront bring it in the next day. They had it all day told me that they would bring it home once it got fixed called me told me that they would drop it off also on top of that telling me that it did not fix the problem that my brakes still do not work even though I just spent $800 on a set of front brakes after I was reassured that that would fix the problem then proceeded to recommended I let the tech guy look at it for another $250 but that wouldn’t include to fix the cylinder which he was sure was NOW the “problem”I highly do not recommend this dealership. I was told by multiple people that they are family ran and trusted, and I was totally flabbergasted by their customer service. I had to end up going and getting my vehicle because nobody dropped it off to me. They gave me a $25 coupon for the inconvenience after spending $800 for a problem that I was promised they would...
