Dollar Tree — Local services in Leetsdale

The store itself is nice, neat, and well-stocked. This comment is solely based on a very rude employee. Her hair was cotton candy pink, but I didn't get her name. This interaction occurred on 2/18/25. She was my cashier, I said hi, she said nothing. I don't need to have a conversation with the cashier, but this was the most awkward silence ever, and I had a lot of items. The only time she spoke is when she told me my total. I told her thanks and again , she looked me right in my eyes and said nothing. I said "okay?'' Like really? you can't even say you're welcome or have a nice day? If I were a "secret auditor" from the company, I would've given her a FAIL. It just really shocked me because she was so chatty and nice with a lady who was ahead of me, but when she got to me, it was not only silence, her actions were so rude. She either needs a customer service reminder on how to be a nice employee, or she needs to be fired because it's a shame that the store is nice and another employee who was stocking, was very helpful, but if I saw her again, I'd probably walk out and go to a different...

I shopped at this DT for the very first time today July 25 2021, I was very happy to see the store was very clean and the shelves were well stocked and in order . I didn't have any issues finding what I went in for. I also want to add that I wittnessed a employee going above and beyond with helping a elderly man that clearly to me was partically blind and needed help finding want he wanted. He asked for help when he walked in the store and she was right there to help him. I was shopping in the next alise and I could hear him telling her what he wanted as they walked down the alise , she was very kind to him. I will be a returning shopper at this DT for sure and will tell my family and friends to shop at this DT . I want to say Thank you to the employee that helped this man today and to the other employees for keeping the store clean...

I stop in here frequently, as I do other locations. The store is usually always clean and organized, except when they have new shipments they are stocking and pulling seasonal items. Customers need to be aware of and respect the fact that employees only have so much space to work in. It's not Walmart or Giant Eagle, they do not stock overnight. Items I usually purchase here are cat toys, hair accessories (I like the metal claw clips they started carrying, I can't break them easily), office supplies, craft items, nail care items, and drinks and snacks.
