Go to any other pharmacy if you can. Our son is an infant patient at KU and needs specially mixed meds for reflux. Over this last year we have repeatedly received faulty meds from this pharmacy that are completely ineffective. Once more when we talk to his doctor at KU they're well aware that this is a common issue with this pharmacy and these meds and have seen it with other patients numerous times.
Faulty meds for a infant. The only way to tell is that he becomes very sick and it takes a week of him throwing up every bottle and ordering a new bottle of meds and paying for a new bottle before we can get his reflux back under control.
It's mind boggling to me that this is a known issue and they don't seem to care. We would love to go elsewhere but there just isn't another option for specially formulated meds supposedly.
