i was driving home from Pennsylvania to New York and after an hour into my trip, i hit something on the road creating a loud bang. then saw on my dash, a decrease in tire pressure. i was on i 78, found the nearest exit and luckily, Mercer Automotive was less than 1/4 mile from the parkway. i was so happy and grateful that they were able to look at my car promptly as i also had my 94 year old mother with me - whose functional ability was limited. when my car was evaluated, it was found that the tire rim was bent. it was hammered out, tire sealed and i was told i was good to go. i replied, ok thank you, just give me the bill and i was told no bill. i was amazed. i am not telling y'all this for you to expect to get your car serviced and have no charge but rather, to let you know what a considerate and helpful business this is. i would have paid anything to be able to get back on the road home quickly. Aug 2020: Having just moved to Lenhartsville from Southern California, we were worried about finding a garage for our small collection of cars.

We found Mercer by accident and we are so very happy that we did. If there's such a thing as being happy to take your car for service or repair, then we are happy. It's always a pleasure to see Doug and Denise. Service cost is extremely fair and the work done is fantastic.

Update Aug 2022: Doug is a technical and automotive genius. He has fixed issues for us nobody else--even in So Cal--could. He managed to figure out the issues in our Lancia and the always-present dash lights are finally off.

The other day my tire blew out on my travel trailer on Rt78. I limped my way to nearest town and found Mercer Auto. Unfortunately I had to park 150 plus feet down the street. That didn't bother the owner. He walked back and forth with car jack,tires and tools many times. He removed blown out tire,put on my spare,took my extra tire and remounted it and put on camper. When we were finally done I was turning to walk back to pay for his services he just told me to have a nice day and safe trip without any sort of payment. I personally was speechless.
