Oak Ridge Golf course 👍👍👍 👎🏿 👎🏿 Staff & management 👍 no starter and other staff members doing great job. Beer girl on the course and great Value of the money 👍- $25 groupgolfer ok and not more than that Amenities 👍- golf range area there. Proshop has drinks and beer cart girl in the course. Pace of the play & direction 👎🏿 Not much crowd but pace of the play was not so good as golfers all around looking for balls and delay in each holes. Sign provided good but direction need improvement as two 18 courses next to each other. Course 👎🏿- maintained just ok Marsh oaks front 9 not greatly maintained Tee box need repair but some of them are great. Narrow fairway on front 9 and Marsh all over make game tough and horrible. Back 9 relatively open and maintained good. Cart path and surroundings need serious maintenance. Black colored water not flowing and can see in videos especially 18th hole 10/3/21- old ridge - fairways could have been maintained better. It's took 5.5hrs to finish foursome. We have 6 golfers group ahead of us and delayed. Nice golf course and always get good tee time and price on Sunday afternoon

I booked a 6:53 PM tee time through Oak Ridge Golf Course’s website, only to arrive and be told the course was already closed. Not only was I able to book online, but Google also showed that the course was still open. I understand they use a third-party service for online bookings, but it’s ultimately the course’s responsibility to communicate any early closures—both to that system and to platforms like Google. I drove over 30 minutes just to be turned away with no resolution offered. Extremely disappointed in how management handled this. A simple update or a courtesy call could’ve saved me the trip. Poor communication and lack of accountability made for a very frustrating experience.

I am only giving this course three stars based on two things. The service was excellent in the club house and on the course. A perk is they take card on the course. My complaints are that it looks like they haven't watered the old oaks course at all this season besides the greens. Where as Marsh oaks looks like thats the course they care about. For the price I was very displeased with the conditions and pace of play. The layout is very nice however and if they took the time to care for it properly it would be a really fun course. Hopefully they will take the time they need to fix it to improve on what could be an every week spot to golf.

I am very disappointed on how shabby and unenjoyable this course has become. I golf about 120 rounds per year (which, for a Michigander, is a lot), and 10 years ago, my buddies and I would probably golf at least 30 of those rounds at either Old Oaks or Marsh Oaks. However, each year since then the courses seem to have become more and more dilapidated. There is very little care put into the courses other than mowing them. This last Spring we played a round there and I said out loud "this course is too crappy to ever come back here." Which is a shame, because it is so close to my house that I used to think of it as my home course. Last Saturday, however, one of my regular golfing cronies talked me into trying it again, arguing that the course might have just been in bad shape in the Spring. I should have known differently since it was a beautiful June day and other courses in the area were packed. While there was an outing on Marsh Oaks, the Old Oaks course was wide open. We soon learned why. The course was in terrible shape. The cart looked like it had been through a war, and the only time we saw a cart girl was on the first green. To top it off, after the round we decided to get something to eat in the clubhouse (it was just after 7:00 pm, i.e., with more than 2 hours of daylight left) and the kitchen was closed. We could not even get the waitress to come to our table. She stood in front of the TV watching soccer for twenty minutes and then grabbed her purse and left. This time I am through. ...

Very upset very sad I had my son graduation party there June 29 it was supposed to be a special day for him, and it turned into a nightmare. There was teenage kids handing out the food when I had questions and concerns. I had to ask them, and they didn’t know what was going on. The food was horrible. Some of my family members got sick from it, The water and pop was water down. The pop tasted flat because it was so hot out. They didn’t even asked to give me cans. They gave me pictures of water and pop on the hottest day. Told me they would keep it. Fresh never did. It was the hottest day that day. There was no fans when I asked for a fan they had a big fan. They didn’t even blow much air. I asked them to Open the tent they had an issue about that some of my family members went inside the building to get air because it was so hot. My 80-year-old grandma was in there. The owner had the nerve to turn the air off on them and said it was broken. I paid over $1900 for my son graduation party for him to have the best day that he deserved I asked for some of my money back. I asked to talk to them. They wouldn’t give me no answers. I emailed them no email back. I’m very disappointed. I lost out on money when I could’ve went somewhere for that price in the air Conditioning better Food and better service. It was the worst experience I’ve ever experienced in my life. I got better service at the Lions hall I would never recommend this place to anyone so...

Literally awful. Me and a group of my friends went to golf on a rainy day so it wasn’t like it was busy at all or we were in the way of anyone beacuse almost no one was there and it’s not like we didn’t pay $50 per person to play and before we can even tee off the marshal comes up to us asking why some of us don’t have clubs, which they were using their boyfriends acting like we still didn’t pay $50 and just because we didn’t have clubs told us we can’t play at all. And then my friend said okay we’ll just go bye hope you have a nice day and he said “it’s even better since you left.” and the whole time was giving us attitude and acting like we can’t play because we are young. He also said one of my friends couldn’t just have a cart and follow us around when that's what she littelry paid too do… so if your not allowed to do that why can they charge her $17 to littelry not play and just ride. So then the owner said we could stay but move to a different course so this marshal litterly followed us inside to watch use get refunds and switch courses which took an hour and they made us all switch carts as well. This was litteraly ridiculous and a waste of time never come...
