If fear had an address, it would probably be somewhere inside AWAKEN. From the moment you step inside, your pulse picks up and your brain starts whispering, âThis mightâve been a bad idea.â The sets donât just look creepy â they feel alive. Every wall, every prop, every sound is drenched in atmosphere so thick you could bottle it and sell it as Eau de Terror. The realism and eerie detail linger around like someone elseâs B.O. â impossible to ignore and strangely unforgettable.
And the actors? Letâs just say they donât clock in â they manifest. They donât simply pop out and yell âboo.â They crawl into your subconscious, twist it around, and make you question if theyâre really acting or if theyâve just gone completely feral and accepted this as their new life. Itâs terrifyingly convincing⌠and I love it.
While standing in line, two different groups actually bailed before they even made it inside. Thatâs how intense this place is. You can practically feel the tension ripple through the crowd as the screams echo from within. Itâs like a haunted house and a cardio workout rolled into one.
Now, for those who might say, âThe line was long,â or âIt wasnât scary,â or âThe group in front of us ruined itâ â take a breath and remember: haunts like AWAKEN are built from sweat, passion, and a borderline-unhealthy amount of caffeine. Every screw, sound cue, and actor reset is done by people who genuinely love bringing this madness to life for you. Itâs not just about being scared â itâs about being immersed in something most people could never dream of pulling off. Focus on enjoying the moments youâre building with the people you go with, and appreciate that countless hours were poured into this attraction to give you and your loved ones a story to tell long after the scares.
Huge thanks to Brian, Wayne, and Rob for putting on such an incredible show. You guys have created something special here â an experience that doesnât just jolt you; it awakens every sense youâve got.
So finally, do yourself a favor and make the trip to AWAKEN. This is a 5-star experience from top to bottom. After you survive the chaos, grab a drink, snap some photos with the iconic monsters, and unwind over food while laughing about who screamed the loudest.
And while youâre at it, keep an eye out for guest celebrities and special events throughout the season â you never know who might be lurking in the...
Read moreTo be honest, this was one of the funniest haunts I've been to and I've been to over a 100. The problem was line management. We were told when we got in the gen admission line was 2 hours and the VIP line 1 hour. So we choose the VIP line. This is us where the horrible time started. This place actually has 2 lines to buy from same window. Our vip lane barely moved meanwhile general lane was moving. We were told that the actual line would move faster, since they went 2 vip groups per every one general admission. This was not the case. As we saw after buying our vip tickets. It was a 1:1 ratio.
To make matters worse we watched people get in the general admission line 30 minutes after us that were able to buy tickets and exit the haunt before we got in.
So VIP was an hour longer and cost 10$ more.
Multiple people at haunt kept lying about the wait time and how VIP was quicker. What a swindle. Too bad it was a great haunt but waiting an extra hour and paying more is inexcusable
I see now, that management replies to many reviews just not mine. Guess they can't excuse the truth. Sham VIP tickets. No understanding on how to handle a que line. No reason for a non vip person should get in line an hour after a person in the vip line and exit the haunt before the VIP person...
Read moreThis is one of the best haunted attractions around! Excellent props and scenes, very well laid out. Took a decent amount of time to complete. Definitely get a lot of bang for your buck. Online ticket purchasing was easy. If youâre going in a large group, plan on splitting up into smaller groups. Great food truck and snacks available on site. Also, some cool merch. Parking is free, easy and well lit. Overall, I would highly recommend checking this place out.
The only thing I didnât personally enjoy was the Black Box experience, which is an additional attraction. It was a bit too intense for my taste. Not in a scary, haunted attraction type of way. Your are essentially subjecting yourself to being dominated, and humiliated. So much so that they even provide you with a safe word before going in. Those who have suffered a traumatic experience in their past may wish to steer clear of this or risk triggering a PTSD episode. (Safe word or not, if this is your reality, then by the time you mutter it, it may be too late to avoid.) I would not recommend and donât feel it is clearly explained at the time of purchase. At least not when...
