I had a horrible and disturbing experience here. While coming back from the beach from with my friend... we decided to check out this place for mid century items.

As we walked in... we recognised the sign of no large purses... so we went back to the car and just took our wallets. Not a big deal and not at the end of the world. The way we were treated after that by a lady in the store. She followed us around non stop. Note: there were plenty of other people in there who did not obey the signs. She stopped my friend who was holding her light sweater and asked her if she was going to buy it. As a antique store, there are really no clothes... we saw a wedding dress. Her targeting was uncalled for. I was seriously going to buy some mid century items here but her attitude and demenor completely turned my friend and myself off.

Lesson she needs to learn: never judge a book by its cover. You never know how much money that person might spend in...

I’ve been here before multiple times, absolutely loved it. But today was a little strange. My friend and i love antiquing and looking around, it’s nice that on sundays this store was open. We excitedly waited for the shop to open, walked in with 0 greeting, then made our way to look at the antiques. Not too sure if it was the owner or not, but an elder lady followed us around the ENTIRE store watching us. Just walking behind us. I’ve had this before becuase i’m heavily tattooed and pierced and feel like i can be profiled sometimes, but didn’t wanna assume because they’ve never done this when i’ve been in there before. Me and my friend felt extremely uncomfortable and watched that we just left. Then as we headed to the door, she gave us a dirty look and mumbled something as we walked out. Really nice place and very easy to locate right off Rt1. Passed by it for years and decided to pop in one day on way to Rehoboth. Wow am I glad I did! Very large store, so plan on giving yourself lots of time to browse every nook and cranny of this place to find your treasures. If your looking for a specific antique or vintage piece, chances are good you'll find it here!
