When I went in one clerk was very nice to help me out. Took me 2 mins. to get my stuff. 1/2 hr. to check out, because they didn't know how to use the Ace gift card. I had called ahead to make sure I wouldn't have any trouble, the guy trying to check me out kept telling me he hadn't had a customer use it in a year .The other clerk said she just had someone before me? Unbelievable, no apologies for keeping me there and my patience. Then banging my things in the bag as if it was my fault they can't do there job. Had to skip my last stop because I was in there so long. Employees should be trained to use services. The only reason I went was for the gift card. This place is great. It's a throwback to a 2 Times Gone by when the hardware store new your name. You were greeted by familiar faces. These guys are there to help people with what they need. This place is a fantastic example of how a locally owned store will be able to help you and answer questions in way that most big box places can’t. I needed a faucet adapter, and had no luck finding help or the part I needed at either Lowes or HD, but here?
