Prices are a bit higher for certain items such as clocks and furniture but for the quality you are getting, it is well worth it. Food prices are more competitive if not the same or cheaper. This is a must-stop if you are traversing either of the two highways that intersect nearby. Ice cream, treats, to-die-for sandwiches and all the meats and cheeses you could want in a deli along with artisan craft goods and foods. All run by a delightful Amish family who always seem to have a smile and a warm-greeting. Helpful and friendly is an understatement. The furniture they sell is top-notch and family members have travelled 500+ miles to purchase on multiple occasions. I stop every time I pass through, which, let’s be honest, is never often enough. I love this store, it's products, and incredibly friendly staff! The dried pasta, the Chokecherry syrup, the Raspberry Jalapeno Jam, the snacks, the candy; all awesome. We stop when visiting my sister in Lewistown. Our Christmas 2016 visit: we stopped, there was a gentleman at the checkout with 10 of the hand pies.
