Southmont Grocery Inc — Local services in Lexington

We call it the Mom and Pop Store. We love the small town atmosphere in this place, but don’t let it fool you, they still carry most anything I’m looking for when I go. Plus some things I didn’t know I wanted, like the Filet Mignon while roast I can get for less than $30, and it makes me 5-6 steaks cut out of it. Friendly staff, clean and great prices! They do not comply with face covering orders and post signage on the front door that face masks are not required. It is a small local store that I frequented and because I and my wife are high risk for the outcome of the Covid virus, I can no longer go to the store and their blatant disregard for the health of their customers means that I will NEVER return to the store. NOw I travel a lot further and ignore the convenience of having a local store. They are not serving the community...

Very nice people and an old time country store. Very small but they have a pretty good selection. The prices on some things are exceptionally high compared to a regular grocery store or Dollar general. They do have good meats...
