My son has autism and experiences struggle with social interactions. We visited this store a few days ago needing only a few things for my son's work lunches. We've been practicing with his independence in paying for his groceries. Thomans' cashier was so warm and friendly to my young man. He wasn't shaken by our unusual tendencies. It was one of the best experiences in check-out ever. Best of all, because the cashier was wearing a name tag, which is golden to my son, I got to hear the name "Andrew" all the way home. I dropped my company credit card and one of their employees found it and they searched me out on FB and got it returned to me. Just this past Monday, my groceries were checked out by Nancy. After totaling my Debt Card was declined (my mistake at math). At that point Nancy offered and paid for my groceries. She has no idea who I am but out of her kindness she paid for my items. Read moreThis was my second time stepping into this store and I have never felt more unwelcomed in my life. The first time I went the employees weren't very friendly. I was in town again yesterday & needed a quick snack for my kids for our hour long drive home. Not a single employee said hi, the cashier just glared at me the whole time not saying a word except "do you want a bag for these?" I will avoid stopping here in the future.
