Hands down this is the place I've been looking for my entire life!!! I had no idea you could source parts for a vehicle so cheaply so quickly so easily. Was even better is you can register to get an email or even a text message if they bring in a car that is the same as one that you're looking for parts on you can even do multiple vehicles if you're in charge of the whole household the vehicles like I involuntary am ;). They'll print you out a map at the front desk to show you where the vehicle is they even will explain how to pull the part if you're not familiar also you know there's YouTube and that's always a big help, I'm always greeted with a warm welcome, these guys are true professionals, be on the shadow of a doubt, and the fellas that work there in the back are definitely some of the hardest working guys around, it shows from the inside out and the outside in that leadership has things buttoned up and keeping the trains running on time. I can only imagine the ins and outs and all the extra laws and ordinances etc instead of a place like this has to deal with to operate legally just to exist in today's world, but this little slice of heaven doesn't just exist it excels, you'd be surprised how well organized and clean a scrap yard can be, or how professional and informative yet friendly and fun loving the staff has always been to me. They even recently upgraded all their wheelbarrows, The previous ones were God knows how old but the new ones are way better, since I mentioned wheelbarrows I don't know how often they do it but I've been there before when they had in anything that goes in the wheel barrel is $100 sale I think it was last year around Christmas, and they are not kidding I saw some pretty impressive feats of shade tree mechanic tree work that day and then even better skills at manipulating a well overloaded wheelbarrow to the front door The top things off it's not like the Menards bucket sale where you almost feel like you're being looked at as a thief for participating in the Menards bucket sale when you do the or at least from my experience when you do the wheel barrel sale here at the Midway U-Pull in Liberty they're all rooting for you and they want to see how much you can actually get in that thing and that is quite the opposite of what I'm used to in that type of scenario with a creative sale like that talk about a fun day, Even though it was cold and pulling parts can always be kind of stressful, I almost felt like I was finishing a marathon when I rolled up there with my wheelbarrow and then with how tough things have been with the inflation and seems like the ever-increasing prices for having any type of work done on your vehicle or having to purchase any type of part and then if you do get a cheap part you're always waiting on it from Korea for like 37 days or something, short story long I have got so many great deals from this place Cadillac tail lights I think it was 30 bucks or something like that went online they were all around 300, I helped the buddy of mine get a front clip bumper for his vehicle I don't remember the exact price so I don't want to put it on here but the body shop wanted almost 2500$ and I want to say take a zero off that and that's probably what he paid for it but I can't say for certain so don't quote me on that. And I'll tell you this you'd be surprised with a handful of tools in a little bit YouTube can do for your pocketbook and for your self-esteem, if I can pull apart off and put on my vehicle anybody can and that's just the bear truth, The only criticisms that I could have of this place would be two things and keep in mind this is a scrap yard so I don't expect it to be like a hospital clean or something like that even though the place is really clean and organized if it's rained anytime recently it's pretty muddy out there and depending on where your vehicle is you might have to build some sort of floating dam with car mats also The only restroom is a porta potty but it's a scrap yard, the prices are low the people are friendly my wallet swears...

Don’t expect to show up and purchase anything for the prices posted online as they will tell you they are now 2x or even 3x as much. And refuse to honor their pricing online. What’s even worse is they refuse to FIX the price list completely.
Even when SHOWING THEM their OWN price list online - They REFUSED to honor it.
I checked online pricing, went out. Spent an hour in 90 degree heat pulling a part. Only to get told “too bad. I don’t care what our website says” when I got the part off. And drug it 1/4 a mile to the front checkout.
(And let’s be clear. This part was labeled the exact same way as it was on the computer in person. As it was on the price list. So they %100 are trying to pull a bait and switch)
I got told word for word. “if you don’t like it. You can come in tomorrow and argue with my boss about it”
Then let’s get to the point that they haven’t updated inventory of vehicles for over a year.
(Both row52 and their OWN inventory list are pretty-much all stuck in December 2023)
so you’ll never actually know what’s there unless you want to call them and wait for 20 minutes to find out.
Management has been changed already for FAR TOO LONG for this to still be happening.
One thing I’d agree with is that there efforts put forth into bringing new inventory HAVE improved. But again. How the heck are we supposed to know there new inventory…
WHEN WE CANT EVEN LOOK IT UP.
(Edit*, right after I posted this review. They finally decided to update the inventory, I’m very proud!)
This new management was supposed to be a big upgrade. Now 4/5 times I go to this location. I either get scammed on pricing. Argued with. Or find out the car I went for. Isn’t even there anymore.
Get it together. This is...
Read moreThis yard is more expensive than others in the area. They are not organized at all. No row numbers or signs. Just "the chevy's are over there". Closed on Sundays. Poor entry and exit, huge potholes that threaten to swallow your car. You will probably need more parts for your car after driving down the entry road. Customer service is terrible. They are very rude. Here is my experience today:
I was in Liberty U Pull today (6-21-14) and was treated very poorly. There were two woman running the office and they treated me and my wife very rudely. They searched my socket case and my bucket of tools. Not only did they search it before entering the yard, but they were rude about it. My wife and I talked about it as we walked through the yard and decided we did not want to spend our money there after being treated so badly. When I left they did NOT search our things. I went back inside after leaving to let them know how offended I was, and how they were treating the customers like criminals. I restore cars and I go to junkyards all over the city, many of which are in "worse" neighborhoods, and never once have I been searched. We were both very offended, not to mention how stupid you look, searching people upon entry, but not at exiting. Do they think I am going to bring parts in and leave them? I explained how I felt to them, and they could have cared less. Their attitude was "too bad, who cares". There are too many junkyards in the area to go to one that treats...
