Came in with my husband to do a big deal. Shop had slightly different hours than before but we didn’t mind waiting an hour for the shop to open. At about 10 till 3 we headed into the store after seeing the door get unlocked and a few other customers be let in to shop.
Once we were inside the wicked woman at the counter couldn’t have been ruder. She yelled at us for being in the store before open (10 minutes but I do get it). And so when she had finished yelling at my husband because she unlocked the door she went right back to assisting the customers she let in.
She never told these customers to exit and gave them normal service. My husband has been waiting all week to make a deal for about $500 and was very patient with the error the woman made by opening her own store slightly early. However the moment he asked why the other customers were getting priority she became even more rude stating they were here first and such. But her entire message to us was what nobody should be in there before 3.
But anyway once she finally decided to use some customer service she rudely demanded to know why we even wanted to which my husband mentioned his deal. She shut him down instantly saying it would take hours before he could get any help due to the fact that she has to help the other customers sell things. I absolutely could not believe how rude this woman was. It’s clear she was caught letting people in early and didn’t want us to speak up about seeing it.
We’ve loved this shop for years but that was it. If you can be that rude for your own mistake then you shouldn’t be in customer service. And you definitely can’t say certain customers are better than others just because you know them. Those young men had a crate of common cards and my husband brought in a fist sized stack of meta relevant and expensive cards. Cards most shops are desperate for right now. Avoid.    Read moreI received a Kill Team Nachmund set from this store, but multiple things were missing from the box. I wish I had payed more attention to the box and its condition as it seems it could have been tampered with.
All 20 of the bases, 10 32mm and 10 28mm were not included in the box. Additionally, two of the three sprues for the Corsairs we're duplicates. Since I am missing one entire sprue I am unable to fully build one of the teams included in the box.
It's incredibly odd that the sprue I got a duplicate of comes attached to another sprue out of the factory. I can clearly see the duplicate was broken off from the other sprues it was originally attached to. I put photos of the sprues here in my review. You can clearly see duplicate pieces/numbers, and the break line on the plastic.
I first reached out to GW, but they claimed nothing could be done since it came from a third party. Deck Factory took my first call 2 weeks ago let me know they would look into it and I probably never would have heard back if I didn't call again myself. Was basically brushed off and told nothing could be done. I wasn't expecting to get the missing sprue or bases, but something like an in-store credit equivalent to the missing parts would have been fine. Now I will need to spend roughly $70 separate in order to get everything I'm missing. Overall, I'm incredibly disappointed and cannot recommend anyone else to purchase Warhammer related...
   Read moreI came to deck factory because I felt it would be a safe location to meet someone who was interested in getting my warhammer Nighthaunt army from me considering they sell the product and it would of been a good opportunity for him to see the location and maybe purchase from them as well since they sell the same Warhammer line of products.
Unfortunately, at this “trading card store” I was immediately accosted by an employee upon the arrival of my friend due to a policy I was unaware of that states I wasn’t allowed to trade my army with him in the “trading card store”, I was asked never to return by the visibly shaking employee. I finished my trades with him without other issues then immediately left
I loved this game store and visited many times since my move here to Lima, but this event was just so out of the blue and disgusting that I wanted to let everyone else know how they conduct business in their “trading card store”
