I could unload an entire camera roll here and it still wouldn’t capture the amazing views this place has to offer. It was my 1st time up here in the winter so I’ve never seen snow covered waterfalls in person before. I can tell you for sure, it was So Beautiful that I didn’t even notice if I was cold or not. Walking in the snow made it a bit more tricky then it normally would be, but that’s what you plan for when it snows. I really got a kick out of the patches of snow above the streams where you could see just a peak of the busy rushing water! Seeing this place in the warmer weather is Always stunning, but seeing it under 2ft of ice and snow is like being in a whole new place! Definitely worth the pit stop if you’re passing through the area or...

Beautiful, like a mini Yosemite with four distinct seasons. I would break it down into 6 quadrants that each could be a whole day of activities.

Northeast- Mt. Lafayette Loop (very popular and so worth doing) Northwest-Cannon Mt, Lonesome lake North central-Profile/echo lake and Bald Mt South West-Kinsman Mt and Kinsman Pond (not very popular) South east-Mt. Flume and Liberty (least popular) South central- Basin/flume and Mt. Pemigawasset

Seasonally: Winter-My favorite time, looks different everyday and is quiet. It is tolerable below treeline, above treeline it is ok as long as it is not windy. Spring-Snow covered until late April, May is muddy and empty. Summer-Crowded, often foggy Fall-Over crowded, but has 2-3...

We spent a day in Franconia Notch during a vacation to the White Mountains. We started our day with a hike through the Flume Gorge, which our family of four enjoyed immensely. Then, we reserved a spot at Echo Lake for the afternoon. We packed a picnic lunch and sat at one of the picnic tables by the lake. The kids had fun splashing in the water and playing in the sand. It was a stunning setting with gorgeous mountains in the background. There were boat rentals as well. ...

A cozy & fun weekend in the beautiful white mountains of New Hampshire 🍁đŸȘ”⛰ Details: 🏡 Our base for this trip was Launchpoint Lodge in Lincoln. I have a few videos posted on this spot - super cute house that’s like a hybrid hotel/airbnb. 🐮 Our new friends names are Chewy & Branch! They were the best “tour guides” of the lovely wooded area. Be sure to call ahead to book a ride! The stables are affiliated with the Franconia Inn. đŸ„ž There was a wait at Flapjack’s (it’s very small inside). So we waited outside for maybe 20-30 mins. It was very worth it for us - the food, vibes & service were all great! 📌Save this for your trip! #newhampshire #whitemountains #travel #naturelover #newengland
