Excellent Customer Service! I have 4 shout outs! First, when you walk in LIZ is where you sign in and she handles your paperwork. She most likely will be one of your first points of contact and can I say, you could not have picked a better person then her! She is so nice and she does any and everything she can do within her authority to make a guest feel taken care of. Not having the authority doesnât discourage her, she will go to her supervisor and try to convince them to make a way for her customer standing in front of her, to make them Happy! She is real, and doesnât put on an act for the customer, she is herself! My next point of âcontactâ at Loon was MARVIN. He helped me with my boots. I am a relatively new at skiing. He realized very quickly that I had no idea what I was doing with the boots and he immediately offered to help! What a lifesaver! I would probably still be there now trying to figure it all out! Lol! Before I took a lesson I tried my hand at the baby hill... I had such a great experience! The people working the magic carpet, or whatever it is called, at both the bottom and the top were super helpful with ALL of their encouragement! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Lastly to my brave ski instructor JANET! Thank you for helping me get to the next level! I can not thank you enough for helping not only my stance and form on the skis, to safely stopping without falling, to being a skiing therapist and helping me through my head trash! Lol! THANK YOU ALL! Great job Loon for hiring such...
Read moreWent on a Saturday, great views and the glacial caves were cool but aside from that the day was less than spectacular to say the least. We were told we couldn't use the amphitheater (One of the things we paid for) because they were "all set up so no one can sit or go down there."
Was curious about disc golf once we got to the summit and saw the course, had to ask the only employee on the summit for help and was told we had to go all the way down and back up again to play. Seems to be no real communication to guests, or the staff itself.
The glacial caves also had the "sorry we're closed" sign right before the pathway to the entrance, even though they were open, with a "welcome the glacial caves are open" sign right as you're getting off the Gondola. Again, no communication and no help or information center on the summit.
The cafe was also horribly over priced and the food looked mediocre.
All in all, it was absolutely not worth the money and having to wander around to find someone to help with questions on the summit, and being told we were not able to use some of the areas we paid for, really made for an unfortunately underwhelming trip...
Read moreUse to be a resort I could always Rely on however as someone whoâs gone to this resort their whole life and had a season pass the last 6 years and yet after loosing part of the value in my pass last season if I didnât purchase a new pass by June 16th I lost any value I could have gotten back, however the last 2 days their checkout page wasnât working. It would never load whether it be on my computer at home or on my phone out and about. After June 16th there was no info toward the winter season and all info stated they were closed until further notice. I then waited until they came out with there new passes which is not only a joke being mid week and more expensive than in the past but I get nothing toward a new one. I realize these are strange times however making no good passes for essential workers and screwing over loyal customers is not the proper way to deal with it and I will almost definitely be taking my business elsewhere this year and going forward with family and friends couldnât be any more disappointed with boyne theyâre...
