Sandhills Global Event Center — Local services in Lincoln

We went to the County fair this year and it was okay, limited food choices even with Ribfest. The carnival was too small for the amount of people and the ticket prices were insane. You can spend an entire day at a theme park for the price of a ride bracelet. Fast forward to tonight we went to the "Circus on Ice" it was very disappointing. It was not "ice" but rather characters skating on foam flooring. The snack bar was overpriced old popcorn, warm water and nachos. The "circus" was on a small stage and the show itself was a trainwreck with some of the performers falling during the "ice skating" performance. I am glad I got the $10 tickets but still paid $90 overall. I had high hopes on this venue but the circus was a scam and I hope the planners do better. I am concerned how this show was approved for this venue and audience. We won't be back for awhile and stick to the Pinnacle Bank Arena which...

This place is a great place to rent for large events. Everything is provided, some at a cost and some without.

There's several options for different kinds of gatherings, whether livestock, company banquets, vendor/craft events, rodeos, go karts, everything.

The staff always knows how to help with your event, they're very knowledgeable with experience in many kinds of gatherings.

As a visitor, you'll have all amenities available. They have their own kitchens with their crew, concession stands for fundraising, clean bathrooms, easy access from the parking lots. The traffic lights for entrances make it easy to come and go.

This year I went to the Super Fair the first weekend, while all the 4-H items were still there. Much more enjoyable than going the last weekend. The kids enjoyed the scavenger hunt and the other kids' activities. The stingray area was a hit. For the adults, there wasn't much to see. The vendor fair was fairly uninteresting, which is sad. That was always one of my favorite parts of the fair, as a kid and as an adult. The Event Center itself is nicely laid out.
