LINTON BOWLING CENTER — Local services in Linton

The facility seemed fine, plenty of lanes which seemed to be nice looking and functioning well. However, the customer service at this place is awful. My husband and 2 kids stood waiting to be helped for probably 5 minutes before anybody looked in our direction. I went into the bar area asking to purchase a couple games of bowling, in which the man in the bar came out to get the girl from before to help us. He asked her to check us out. He then went into the bowling area to help somebody else with the screen on their bowling lane. The girl stared at us for a second, then gave us a “hold on a minute” finger and walked away without saying anything.. I have yet to hear this girls voice. So another minute or two go by and she’s standing next to the man from the bar, she finally comes back to the cash register where we’re standing. She doesn’t look at us, just stares into the bowling lanes. After about a minute of silence I asked “can you please help us?” She AGAIN didn’t speak, but pointed into the bowling area and mumbled something like “wait.” My husband and I grabbed the kids and left. I’m not normally one to complain what so ever, I get it. But the simple fact that her customer service was so bad, I won’t go back. My husband said something about how bad the customer service was and the girl rolled her eyes and shrugged her shoulders. Obviously the employees don’t care about treating their customers with respect or even speaking to them for...

Lane 16 (very last lane) had quite a few problems with it. First thing, first couple turns the pins weren't being set properly and they kept falling over. This was an easy fix as some pins were getting old. That's understandable. Second thing is that the front pin doesn't set properly on the second set (if not knocked down) and moves noticeably to your right. Thirdly, the pins knocking down occurred during our second game, old pins I understand though. And even one time the pin wasn't even set at all. Lastly, the game kept acting really unusual. Once to twice per game, the game would skip a set and either skip a persons second set or skip the first one entirely. The pins were set on the second set, but the game was on the first set. So on a person's second set, the pins would reset, which is abnormal. A quick reset fixed this issue, but still reoccurring. On the good note, it's bowling, it's always going to be fun. Staff was really nice and understanding with our lane being so unusual. I do plan on visiting more in the future, and if these problems are addressed,...

The actual bowling part of my experience I would rate 5/5. The facility was clean, and there were plenty of lanes/balls to choose from. The equipment was functioning well. However, the music was raunchy and inappropriate for my small children. The cuss words weren't even edited out. Colt 45 and The Way You Shake It we're just a couple of examples of the music played.
