Words cannot truly express my gratitude for the entire LBI National team. My wedding weekend was, without a doubt, the best two days of my life.
We held our rehearsal dinner in the Sun Parlor on Saturday night, and it was absolutely perfect. We decided to add it on pretty last minute, and I didnât want to go overboard with decorationsâbut honestly, the room was so beautiful it didnât need much at all. The food was amazing, and Joanne, our bartender, was absolutely lovelyâeveryone adored her! Caitlin did a fantastic job managing the flow of the evening and preparing us for the big day ahead. I canât recommend the Sun Parlor enough for a rehearsal dinner or eventâitâs stunning and far more affordable than many nearby venues.
On our wedding day, Caitlin and her assistant, Carley, were both incredible! Going into it, I thought theyâd mostly just direct us when it was time to move from one thing to the nextâbut I was completely wrong. They were by our sides from the first look through the end of the night, keeping everything organized and making sure everyone was where they needed to be.
Carley spent a lot of time with me personallyâmaking sure I had water (or champagne!), helping bustle my dress after the ceremony, and keeping me calm and confident. She hyped me up all day and truly made me feel so special. Caitlin worked closely with my photographer, keeping everything on track and handling countless details behind the scenes that I didnât even realize were happening. I know the day wouldnât have gone nearly as smoothly without her.
Stephanie was also such a joy to work withâfrom our very first tour to our final email, she was professional, kind, and made everything so easy. And beyond the incredible staff, the food was phenomenal, and every bartender and server we interacted with was so pleasant and accommodating.
Our wedding day was truly magical, and Iâm endlessly thankful for the entire team at LBI National for making it...
Read moreThe Wickie room is far from ready. As old Sea Oaks resturaunt regulars. After 2 1/2 years our expectations were high from the hype we read about the opening of this venue. Well where do i start..... the absolute worst vodka tonic in my 45 years since I was of drinking age. So bitter it tasted like one of those kids head exploding sour balls. I asked for another ( I thought it was a bad orange or lime.) . I asked what the bar vodka was they said it was Titos . The 2nd drink was far worse than the 1st. I conplained and asked the server what kind of tonic they used. He shrugged his shoulders and said he didnt know. He and others tasted the tonic from the gun. All had comical facial expressions. I asked to switch to a vodka gimlet. Which was fine. Then on the check i was charged for the 2 lousy vodka tonics and a third mysterious drink i never received. We will get to the check later..... The food we were served was well below par.....forgive the pun... the LBI burger was not good . Bacon was not cooked....Brioche bun was stale...French fries were barely cooked. This after we had ordered the fries well done. It was put in that way by the server...( several front and back of the house mistakes here) The crab cake sandwhich was barely mediocre and fishy. Bun again was stale. When we asked for the check we were overcharged for the undrinkable drinks. When we complained the manager needed to get involved....she then charged us for only the gimlet replacement drink. But..... in her words had to "here our side of the story 1st. " no apologies ...this after least 5 people had to decide the tonic was NFG......... their conduct was amaturish and unprofessional the Vivamee owners need to learn a thing or two about operating a place people want to go to and relax and have a good time. You had your chance LBI National. IM SPENDING MY DISCRETIONARY INCOME WHERE IT IS...
Read moreWhat a fabulous venue! So many of our members commented on the beautiful new look of all the public rooms. We had scheduled our holiday party through the event coordinator Stephanie. It was an exceptional experience working with this young woman. She held our hand and guided us every step of the way. The night of the event everything was prepared as we discussed with Stephanie and she was on site to guarantee our satisfaction. She even had placed petite fresh flower arrangements on the high top tables in the upper lobby outside the ballroom which added to upscale decor. Stephanie arranged for the ballroom bar to open a half hour ahead of the start of our event so our guests could enjoy a beverage upon arrival while waiting for the ballroom doors to open. The newly decorated ballroom was beautiful. The tray ceiling with contemporary chandeliers, light planked wood floor, and windows covering 2 walls offering an unobstructed view of the golf course and farther on to the Atlantic City skyline gave this room a very spacious feel. The meal prepared by Chef Andrew was outstanding. We chose table placed cheese and charcuterie boards, a unique and exceptionally tasty caprese salad, tomato bisque soup, a choice of 4 entrees, and tiramisu with table served coffee for dessert. Every food item was a gastronomical treat and met with rave reviews from our members. The waitstaff couldnât have been more accommodating and attentive. Very, very impressive! Our event was a rousing success thanks to Stephanie, Chef Andrew, and the waitstaff. Our club has already scheduled an event in July and our 2024 holiday party. No need to look anywhere else when you have experienced the best. We only wish we could give this venue more than 5 stars. If you book an event you wonât be disappointed. With thanks and gratitude The officers of the Italian and American Social Club Heritage...
