I lived at Villages of Cross Creek for three years. When I first moved in everything was perfect and it was a great apartment complex. After my families first year living here things went down hill.
Over the summers the pool was never properly cleaned, it had a bunch of chlorine dumped into it year over year. Several occasions we had to disappoint our children because the water had turned green.
Several maintenance requests were put in for mold growing in the dishwasher door and standing water. The dishwasher never drained properly and would blow dirt back into our dishes making us have to hand wash them. We were constantly told to just run our garbage disposal to solve the problem. After at least ten maintenance requests for it, someone finally found out the dishwasher wasn't level and fixed it which worked temporarily.
We had our refrigerator break, and the response to that was to go buy coolers, which we had to use for a week and a half before we got a new fridge. I had to constantly call for the updates on what was going on due to lack of conversation.
My garbage disposal had a leak, and was causing water stains under the sink. I recorded video of it leaking, and was told no leak could be found.
And finally the move out experience was horrible. We provided over 30 days notice and completed everything on our checklist. After turning in our keys, I had to follow up with them for confirmation of receipt, which took two phone calls. We performed everything on the move out checklist and we're still charged a cleaning fee. After negotiating the cleaning fee out of our final payment (which took going through four people over a two week time), we promptly paid everything. During the negotiation time the larger amount was sent to a credit agency the same day that the final payment was submitted. Turning the whole process into a nightmare.
I would warn against living here and make sure to keep all copies of...
Read moreMy wife and I lived here for about 8 months. After visiting friends apartments in the area, I can definitively say that it is the greatest place to live in NWA. The apartment was very spacious, and for that reason, I was the one who had the get-togethers because everyone could fit . The whole building is constructed very well and carpeted throughout so that you will barely hear your neighbors. And it is conventionally located 20 mins from Walmart Homeoffice during rush hour traffic (Otherwise it is a 10 minute drive)
The staff was great. Anytime I needed something fixed, there were there right away. Once on a Sunday, a fuse in the bedroom blew and the maintenance staff came right in and fixed it for us.
The only downside (and isn't controllable by the apartments) is the water. You need to get a filter because the water either tastes like it came straight from the lake or it's super chlorinated.
I come from the northeast where prices are usually much higher for apartments and you get much less. So these were the greatest apartments for the price that I have ever seen. I really loved the place and I was sad to go (business transfer). I will truly miss the apartments and especially the staff who helped make...
Read moreHave lived here almost a year in their 2bed/2bath and everything has been a really great experience. The front office always responds super quickly, and any service request I put in usually gets answered and fixed ASAP. AC had trouble twice during summer and ,both times, it was fixed by the next day!
Owner really takes care of you and makes sure your apartment is in 100% good shape as they are on point with maintaneaince routines. Communication is also great, you can tell they’re very caring people at the front office after living here. And there are no fees for routine or maintaince services!
The apartment is spacious, well-maintained, very well priced, and pet-friendly. Owners always make sure the place is well cleaned before you move in, and the landscape is always clean too. Even the neighbors are nice as they will occasionally greet you, and it’s always quiet around here. I’ve never had any noise issues and parking is always easy to find.
Seems like they have everything here, except one thing! But I won’t say because they’re a fantastic place and it’s not a big deal! Of course no one is perfect and I’ve thought of some complaints before, but nothing important enough...
