So, I have heard about this place on Facebook. So then I started following them... and they're hilarious. I noticed all of their food pics were fire, and they also try a lot of new local places and post pictures and reviews. I appreciate local supporting local. Also, the food they were reviewing on facebook also looked fire so I knew they had good taste. Now... are they located in a great location? Depends on who you ask. You can do your independent research there. What I will tell you is that this family, this business, fosters a sense of community. I hear they have the best burgers in little rock. I am going to go back to find out. If you want food made you order at the register and wait, there is a small hot bar. Check the top of the deli area for fresh made items. This is where I got the purple hull peas... we will get there. Then, in the freezer, they had their collard greens. Now they don't cook with pork, only smoked turkey. I didn't know this. I was surprised but maybe it's a west coast thing 🤷♀️. So here's what I left with: purple hull peas, collard greens, mango lemonade and local honey (at an amazing price). When I tell you that those purple hull peas transformed me into another dimension momentarily.... I'm not lying. They are just... perfect. Love the spices. The collard greens were good, but it's just me... I always dab some hot sauce on them. I ate em all by myself. The mango lemonade is a sweet treat. I will go back. I will be getting the burger now that I know how it works. Pick your time wisely because it gets packed. Shop local....
Read moreY’all, I have waited YEARS, not days, weeks, or months.. actual YEARS for this experience. When I tell you they did not disappoint, I am being modest. They BROUGHT IT. The moment I parked, I could smell how glorious my decision would be. I’m from Memphis and we have all kinds of delicious food, but nothing touches K Hall and Sons Produce. Their customer service is top notch, they’re kind and welcoming. Then, when you check out and see your total, you are certain to forget every miserable experience preceding this event, and THEN, when you take that first bite, you will swear that you are just being born and that you can, in fact, be anyone you want to be. We got a 3 piece tender meal, 7 piece hot wing, pork chop sandwich, piece of catfish, a small gizzard (cooked to preference), two pieces of mouthwatering cake, a box of cheese it’s, and two of those famous baby gallon lemonades for.. wait for it.. $35.01!!!!! Lastly, on the way out, the most precious man offered me some lightly seasoned shrimp for my little girl to try (for free) because “that’s how he gets you hooked” but BAAABBBYYY I had already called my divorce lawyer!! Just playin about the last part. For real, Little Rock should be proud to host such a fine establishment as I know they are proud to host...
Read moreThe food here is great no denying that! The turkey burger is always phenomenal, and they offer a solid variety of deli and hot food options. When everything is running smoothly, the quality makes it well worth the visit.
However, the overall customer experience needs improvement. The layout inside is very confusing, especially for first-time visitors. Even though there are signs, it’s still unclear where to go or how to order, which makes navigating the chaos frustrating.
The customer service isn’t the most welcoming, which is surprising. On social media, this business is super active, friendly, and community-driven. But unfortunately, that same vibe doesn’t always carry over in person. The staff often assume you already know how things work, which can make new customers feel lost or ignored.
That same energy they put into their online presence could really help improve the in-store experience—something as simple as a quick video or post explaining how it all works would go a long way.
There’s definitely something special here with the food. With a bit more organization and better customer service, this place could continue to grow as a true...
