Food City — Local services in Livermore Falls

I stopped going to Food City because they sell expired food. We have found food with expired date from 2015 in 2017. We have opened can goods and drinks and they were so nasty we had to throw them away. Frozen box meals and refrigerated food are often expired especially sandwich meats(I've never ordered from the deli). Bread has been moldy and some loafs had flies fly out when we get home and open them. They keep discounted refrigerated foods just sitting out in shopping carts around the store. This store also smells bad even my children said it stinks as we walked in. On top of everything else their prices...

Great place... People where very Friendly thats both other customers and the store employees. The prices seemed reasonable and had alot to offer. Great place to shop. Next time I'm in the Area I will definitely pop in.. and pick up some things. There was something that really caught my eye , it definitely looked really Good .. I was definitely tempted , Especially not being from the area... and never having it before... I wasn't sure if I could even get it... So I just looked 😎. Maybe next time It will be there and Well ... See what happens. 🤪 Like I said though Great Store......

Food City is a convenient place to pick up last minute grocery items in the Livermore Falls/Jay area. The building looks a little bit sketchy from the outside, and it is not always the cleanest inside, but it usually has what you need for decent prices. I will sometimes run in here if I need to grab a few things and don’t have time to run down to Hannaford.
