This past Thursday, my family and I were preparing to see my aunt for the last time. She decided on death with dignity due to cancer, and her choice was to take this medication Friday morning. We decided to have her celebration of life on Thursday evening, all the people that loved her would surround her, and we would, of course have food and most importantly, dessert. My aunt only wanted one thing, a raspberry Bismarck. As soon as I heard this, I called around to all the area Bakeries In Central Maine. Unfortunately, I was unable to find anyone who had raspberry Bismarck’s Available in such short notice. I called Berry fruit farm in Livermore Falls to ask, and when I spoke with the woman on the phone, and found out there wasn’t any raspberry Bismarck’s available, I explained why I was calling around. As soon as she heard that this was for my aunt last night and for her celebration of life, the woman on the phone told me to come after work and she would make five raspberry Bismarck‘s for us! Fresh that afternoon. How incredible is that! And not only this, but when I showed up, I found that they gave me two of them for free! They have such a wonderful assortment of baked items for the sweet tooth, and I of course filled up another box of sweets My aunt was very tired after we ate dinner and went to bed seemingly for the last time, but at 9 PM, my mother says, she came down the hallway with her walker stating she was ready for her Bismarck. And she ate the whole thing. It was absolutely amazing. Thank you so very much for this, it’s hard to find small caring hometown people anymore, and you are the best of them. I wish I could give more than...
Read moreOver due review, but decided to share the truth of my interview experience with Berry Fruit Farm. The lady owner is quite something else. If you interview with her, be prepared to be put through the wringer and given personality test and analyzed. That is fine, however she is quite cold and unprofessional. She did not even respond to my email, thanking her for the interview and her time. Nor did she thank me for my time, or the efforts put forth. Indulging her, with her overbearing hiring process. The husband & store manager, on the other hand were friendly, down-to-earth, responsive and professional. Yes, all three were there to interview me. The husband seemed very satisfied with my interview and said Wow. As a Matter-of-fact, the store manager had recommended me to the owners for this interview. Sorry, but in my 58 years, I was never treated so rudely or blatantly disregarded by a potential employer. Especially, a Small Business owner. I take pride, in being a Certified Trust Pilot Reviewer and most of my reviews are commending the businesses I interact with. May you have a...
Read moreGreat stop for a variety of farm fresh products! The new farm store is a great convenience, but it's still nice to stop by the farm stand from time to time. Almost always leave beyond satisfied, and their coconut covered donuts are a guilty pleasure. The staff are friendly and informative. Recently had a not so good experience with some late season peaches, but I chose to edit the review, because the owner quickly responded, and offered a full refund, although we didn't think it was necessary. Always appreciate any business that makes an honest effort to resolve any product issues, and it was the first time in years as customers that we had any problem. Definitely a good way to keep your customers loyal! Would recommend anyone check the place out! Bought a delicious blueberry pie (would recommend warming and serving al a mode, crazy good!), and a few other treats this...
