Livermore Rodeo Arena — Local services in Livermore

The rodeo itself was good and entertaining and I give it "5" stars. The people who set this event up were instrumental in it's overall success today and I take my hat off to them.

Although the event had a lot of dust the show itself was "worth the admissions price", which I thought was a little steep. We paid $30.00 each for "covered" seating but I'm glad we did because of the heat. I felt sorry for the ones who had to sit out in the sun!

The food itself was mediocre at priced way over. We bought a chicken kabob for $16.00. The chicken was dry and tasteless. Everything was expensive from eating to drinking.

Seating: after paying for our seats we got "row 25" and proceeded to sit.  What I didn't know was that we were supposed to have assigned seats which we didn't have.  Our ticket just assigned us to row 25.  After being told numerous times to move because we were in someone else's seat, I was more than upset at the seating process.

They were rude and didn't give you a chance to ask a question regarding handicapped parking. I parked where they told me, even though I have problems walking. When I got to the entrance there were numerous parking spaces for handicap...

AMAZING FOOD, AMAZING RODEO, AMAZING PEOPLE BUT.......

THE TRAFFIC SUCKED!!!!! that's why only 4 stars. Took almost 2 hours to get out of the parking lot. Then once police showed up, traffic got moving. This was a hazard!!!! No traffic control at all!!!! Horrible.

Had a great time. Buy tickets a head of time because it sells out FAST!!! we got lucky. 1st time here.

They have booths set up where you can buy cowboy hats and clothes and stuff and food vendors. Bring cash, ATMs on site just in case. You buy beer tickets 3 for $20 not bad. Had a great time, can't wait to go...
