Ok… this is for my best friend. She made her payments and she has paid off her kitchen table set recently. She has approx $275 left on her living room set and then it’s paid for as well. I’m not understanding why but she gets her pay days every two weeks and she keeps getting the call to pay weekly. Like today… the same thing happened last week she gets paid in two days and called to tell them that and they said they could not wait for two days that if the payment wasn’t made that day they would come and take back her living room suite. She did not have any other way to get the payment and her poor mother whom is in bad health offered to help her and I gave it back to her two days later. Well here we are again they came to her house today. I know it’s really not the employees fault the managers and such.. I know they catch slack from corporate if they don’t get that payment in when it’s said to be in. But here she is again two days until payday and sweating bullets… I told them to let their manager know that she will have the payment in tomorrow in the afternoon once again she will have to borrow it and then pay someone back the next day. I just don’t understand why corporate will not give the employees the leave way to work with you especially since it’s only two days and then once you pay it find out how much more it will take so this doesn’t happen again next week. Long story short a person just can’t breathe when it comes down to just two days worrying that someone will come pick up your furniture? Over two days? She has never ever not paid them when she gave them a date, never! If corporate can see this could you please cut some slack? Life is too hard as it is. Just needing some breathing room and a break. I do need to give a shout out to BRIANNA and DOROTHY!!! These girls are very knowledgeable and very! Nice! I've always heard that their is always calm before the storm and in this store, that is exactly the right way to put it!
the only time I walk into that store and don't hear everyone in the room behind the counter talking about sex, throwing cuss words loudly (and you'd honestly think they would know the customers out front can hear it) but I don't think they care. and the main one you hear back there talking like this that you would least expect it because hes so nice to your face is Jon, there store manager. I mean the language he uses is so extreme that I wouldn't know where to begin categorizing it. I honestly to the maximum pray that he doesn't have children! I'm grown, I can deal with these words and stuff they talk about back there, but small children coming in that store with their families cannot, what children hear stick with them and I hope this hasn't happened and never will. I've never actually had a bad problem with this store as far as my product, payments, the service, etc. I would just like anyone with children or who is easily offended by strong language to keep their children clear of the front counter because you CAN hear everything that is going on behind that counter.
the only person there that has a huge huge attitude is there assistant manager, the tall guy I think his name is Cory? I've watched him get very aggravated with older customers while trying to explain something that they do not understand, buddy you are in a rental industry where people see new things and want to try them, that's one reason they are renting them, that and they aren't fortunate enough to be able to buy the merchandise out right, be patient with people and give them the benefit of the doubt. he is also rude at times, and especially on the phone.
just please, I wouldn't want my kid's hearing this kind of stuff when they were young and I know parents today don't want their kid's hearing this stuff, so please be cautious when entering this store, its...
Read moreI was in a jam and went to Rent-A-Center. I met Dorothy the assessment manager, what a lovely girl. She was very helpful and pleasant. I purchased a stove and I needed it bad, it was Christmas time a lot of cooking to be done. A few months later the fridge went. So back up to see Dorothy the next day it was delivered. I love dealing with them fast and easy. So my nephew wanted a game system ( a switch ) so guess where I went? Yep back up to see Dorothy. Now all paid off and if I need anything else, I'll be back!!! Would I recommend to friends and family....
