The people were really nice and helpful except they made an error on my order and refused to do anything to make it right. I had ordered 4 tons of river rock. My site measurement came out to 4.2 tons for the materials and I specifically said to go down to 4.0 rather than round up to 5 as she recommended. She said that errors were made on both sides, but this is her business and she 100% changed the phone order and then said they can't do anything. She said I got the invoice and paid it, which I did, but again I didn't realize that the order would be changed. If there was anything that she felt like needed to be clarified why not ask. She repeated to order to me so how was I to know she wasn't clear? So frustrating that a customer can't have faith in the company handling orders correctly. When the driver came I confirmed that it was 4 tons of river rock and he said it was probably more like 4.5 when he scooped it up. So...

I ordered screened top soil for delivery but was brought a garden mix instead. They charged me the screened top soil price, which is more than the mix so I took a couple of handfuls to their store to show them and to see what they would to make it right.

You can see from the photo the dirt is full of wood chips and dirt clods, not screened top soil. At the store, I was told that it was what they had for screened top soil and I could go out to the yard and see for myself. I did, and confirmed it was the same dirt as the garden mix bin.

KJs offered no apology, no refunding the price difference, nothing. The lady at the counter took my name and number and said she would have Ken give me a call. He never did. Based on this experience and other reviews I'd say KJ's isn't an ethical company and doesn't care about...

I've passed this place many times over the years and never stopped. I never really needed the material they sell until recently. Great place to go for mulch, stone, rock, soil etc. Very friendly and great, super fast service. So fast that the loader is waiting on ME to get over to the pile after paying. I've purchased brown mulch (4 yards), 57 stone and screened topsoil. Prices are very reasonable when you buy in bulk. Their fresh vegetable section is just starting the season and I've purchased tomatoes and a watermelon. The watermelon was purchased yesterday (5/11/22) and it is the sweetest watermelon I've tasted in years....
