He’s friendly, patient, and took the time to answer all my questions, as Canoes & Canoe Paddles are semi-foreign to this lifelong kayaker. This is a paddlers dream place!! The owner/operator Carl is the most knowledgeable paddler ive ever meet and his collection of kayaks and canoes is unmatched. Not only does Carl only sell top of the line performance kayaks/canoes(no cheap plastic yaks here) his service to his customers is great. in 30 min talking to Carl I learned more about kayaking then in 5 yrs of going to larger chain stores..if your a fellow paddler you really should stop at this shop before going...

Carl was super knowledgeable and very helpful with determining the exact type of canoe was best for my needs, based on my past experience and future plans for the canoe. He also had a HUGE stock of used canoes - probably 3-4 times more than what is posted online.
