Dollar General — Local services in Lone Rock

It's Dollar General what do you expect, not a great store to begin with but after driving for 3 hours my kids needed to stretch their legs and we needed more arts and crafts supplies so why not stop at this inexpensive store on the way home right?!? Oh my god so so wrong! We have shopped Dollar General before in a couple places but this was our first experience with this particular store and I will NEVER go back. The store is dingy and organized in a chaotic manner. No joke the second you walk in you have to stop and go wait am I really in a store?!? Shelves are half empty and aisles are cluttered with inventory waiting to be stocked. Be careful rounding corners while keeping your 6 ft distance you might trip over a 10" high foot stool sitting there with no caution notice or anything. I don't exactly know why I was shocked by this as it seemed almost every aisle was in a state of chaos. Surprisingly it seems as though nobody has been hurt bad enough in that store to sue yet or they would care more about safety.

So anyways....

You weave your way through crowded narrow aisles with no organization (almost like being at a highly dysfunctional yard sale) and piss poor lighting, not to mention lots of empty shelves trying not to crash into things or bump into people. Its absolutely terrible like honestly what were they thinking?!? Oh man lets cram a ton of shelves going every which direction with maybe a 4 foot wide walkway and call it a store. ROFL. It's so bad like seriously guys go a few more miles to a different store or different Dollar General it's bad 👎 😕

Now don't get me wrong there was one pleasant thing about my shopping experience and that was the wonderful cashier, the only employee I saw in the store. I dont know if this is a corporate issue, if they are short staffed right now or what the issue is but there is definitely a lot of issues...

When I went to the store for my purchase on Monday, the older was very kind and helpful. When I returned on Thursday, I was never treated so rude when I walked in the door with returns. She was downright mean to me. I had my receipt, items were not used/worn. Another woman checked me out and was nicer. The previous rude lady was nice as could be to the next customer so sweet calling her "hon". I was polite but she obviously didn't like me from...

There new General manager has gotten store looking better ... The hallway arnt as full and messy. She really nice talk too and helpfull if need something. We like the store now. if they could get the door fixed .. Think keep freezing. Other then the door think store looking better. She needs a raise she improving the store alot .. We will be back thank you for your help with our things...
