Gifted by the Sea — Local services in Long Beach Township

For quite a few years I always made a point of stopping in and picking up gifts for family and friends. This week I went twice as they were having a sale. I bought a few items and went back the next day with my sister and adult niece. I was followed around the shop by a woman working there. She walked step by step behind me. It seemed very creepy. As I walked to the other side of the store to bring my Item to the counter she was right be hind me and when she went behind the counter she studied the security screen watching my sister and niece even though there was another worker watching them. She answered a phone call giving her name as Rose. When I was paying I tried to make small talk to put her at ease but only got grunting as a response. this place is terrible. i had gone to gifted with my friends for years, until one day i walked in with ONE of my friends just to get screamed at by a worker for being a "gang of children" saying that her store was "not a playground" when all we had done was look at the bracelets. she threatened to call the cops, but my friend and i persisted saying we did nothing wrong. she then proceeded to physically push my friend out of the store and screamed at us to leave. i later found out she had taken pictures and videos of my other friends when they were in the store and then kicked them out telling them the store was closed an hour before the closing time. when accused of videoing, the worker said she has no idea when my friends clearly saw her. this lady is crazy, shop at...

For the past 10 years or more, I have enjoyed a weekend with my friends on LBI. Gifted by the Sea is our first stop for shopping. The store has a large variety of items for sale. I have never left this store empty handed. The clothes they sell are unique and top quality. Household items are nice, and the jewelry section is top notch. I recently purchased a garden ornament that is a heart made of blue sea glass. I have gotten so many compliments on how nice it looks in my front yard. The friendly and knowledgeable staff are always helpful when you need them. The checkout is fast and easy. There is literally something for everyone. I highly recommend the store...
