Tremblay Maison — Local services in Longmeadow

During the pandemic years, we’ve spent countless hours with Alexandra and her staff at Tremblay Maison to update the furniture and overall ‘look’ of our living and dining rooms. From the start, Alexandra made us feel comfortable discussing how we ‘live’ in our home and helped us discover our own style.

Based on her architectural expertise, she showed us countless pieces of furniture, rugs, and artwork for each room all the while explaining why they work together in the room. We never felt pressure to follow any of her suggestions; she continued to show us additional items until the perfect option presented itself.

The entire staff at Tremblay Maison was involved in our selection of products, delivery and placement. Each and every one of them was professional, responsive to all our questions and concerns, well-informed and fun to work with.

We love everything we’ve chosen and feel happy with the overall result and, best of all, comfortable in our home and proud of our style.

In addition, we worked with Tremblay Maison and TM Home Construction to redesign and upscale our master bath. The entire project was managed masterfully throughout by Alexandra working with us on the new bathroom design and product selections and Joe working with sub-contractors to plan, schedule and coordinate the job. The individuals doing the demolition, plumbing, electrical, painting and tilework were all professional, respectful of our time and space, and experts in their area.

Mixed experience. Design ideas from Alexandra were limited, yet good. She has potential. She offers the ideas only after customers place a substantial deposit, which per contract can supposedly "go towards any sub part of original project". Did not work out that way. After placing the deposit, we had multiple visits by subcontractors (whom apparently work for a company Tremblay Maison owns. I was told by their employee that the businesses were divided due to liability concerns). In the 2 months or so we were actively involved with this company, we dealt with 7 employees yet never got a full estimate for our planned project. The company scheduled multiple visits with workers, stating each one had to survey the area and give separate estimates. While Alexandra's husband, Joe, showed up at one of those visits, stating he was a "project manager", it was too little, too late. A project manager needs to show up at the beginning of the project and be knowledgeable to give a complete estimate at that time. Meanwhile, we waited an extra 10 days after the 3rd workman toured our house without receiving a complete estimate from the company! Turns out Trembley Maison sells flooring materials at an inflated price (we saved $400 going to another local store). We asked TM to apply our deposit towards a small section of our original plan, but were told we could go elsewhere. A full month later, T M returned part of our original deposit, claiming the recommendation Alexandra gave for flooring was worth $120. Good thing we did not charge them...

Tremblay Maison was wonderful to work with! They helped me transform a room that we weren’t using at all and made it into our favorite gathering and hanging out space for the whole family. I have four children and I told them I need durable quality furniture, they did not disappoint! The furniture has held up so well and has been easily able to be cleaned after any spills. I love each and every piece they helped me to pick out. Alex came up with ideas that I wouldn’t have thought of myself, but also was very careful and considerate to make sure the project was what I loved. I picked out everything step by step with her offering guidance and options. Overall I highly recommend using their services.
