The Spa at Bear Creek — Local services in Longswamp Township

I recently had a spa day here and it really was an amazing day here. The staff was very friendly and the place was really nice. I love that they have a steam room, hot tub and heated pool. The weather was rainy and yet it just cleared up to unwind after my treatments in the hot tub. They were totally cool with being in the hot tub even if it was raining. I had a body scrub with Brayden and she was absolutely great. She was so sweet and I enjoyed the firmness with the scalp massage. This was my first time getting a body scrub and I really enjoyed it. I had Dominic for my deep tissue massage and it was probably one of the best massages I have ever had. The only thing I wish I would add to this experience was the service of a relaxing beverage like champagne or wine. You can go upstairs in the bar to get your own beverage if you would like but it would have been nice to have that extra service to have it brought to me in the lounging area. I would be willing to pay for that service as well. However, the manager was so sweet and made me feel so comfortable and showed me an easy way to the bar area to get a beverage after my service. She made it very clear that people show up in their robes all the time. It was truly a wonderful experience. I can't wait...

Pros: The staff were super friendly. The resort is beautiful. Liked the added spa experience rather than other massage studios.

Cons: Disappointed. Booked massage here rather than less expensive options because we wanted the steam room and hot tub. Utilizing the large outdoor hot tub was important to us because of COVID. When we went outside to use the hot tub I immediately heard a gurgling noise and water overflowing everywhere from the steps and down the concrete. Turns out someone forgot to turn the hose off and heater on. When maintence came they said it would take two hours to heat up - well after getting lunch at the cafe and checking out the hotel hot tub it still was not hot after 3 hours. Even the super tiny hot tubs in the hotel area were only warm and not hot. Unfortunately the steam rooms are within the locker rooms so if you book a couples massage with the opposite gender you can’t enjoy the steam room together. Wish there was an...

I am so deeply disappointed in bear creek spa. This is my favorite place on earth. I carve out the budget and the time once a month to go get a massage by an angel named Brayden. It is already a stretch for me to spend $100 for a 50 minute massage but I knew that it was worth it because of how I felt when I was done. Today I found out that they are raising their prices by FIFTY PERCENT. A 50 min Swedish massage went from $100 to $150. Not only is it egregious to raise prices by 50% in this economy it is unfair to your regulars. I always looked forward to my once a month few hours of heaven and now your GREED has lost my business.
